Libraries don't bring in much sP these days (everything is digital!) so he's got to make some side money somehow :P

I mostly wanted him to ask for two items because that gets more items purchased per day on one of the more popular quests.

I wanted him to ask for two items permantely. You get sP back based on the value of the items you turn in, so it just means that you're spending more and getting more sP back. You just have to adjust the maximum you're willing to spend. If you see the above, all that glitters hasn't actually resulted in people losing more sP than they usually do :)

When items get asked for via quests, they typically go up in price :)

While I LOVE that that Library finally got some attention (he was getting awful) I really hate that the second item comes from MB. On days when it switches to Apothecary it&;s going to be hell and the prices of ATG have already shot up to the point where doing quests today is very difficult. I finished maybe 6 quests and lost sP on all of them. In fact I dropped about 150k, and I was careful with the ones I did. It doesn&;t take long for items from places like ATG to shoot up in price or, sadly, for some users to hurriedly jack up the prices of these items so no one else can enjoy the quests.
Did the value of items that you get put you above what you spent in total on the quests?
