Oh Aha. I went to dissneyland a couple time when I was a kid and we lived in Paris. The school system in France is weird. For university I mean. They have like the normal university system and then they have a separate system which is pretty intense. And even in school, it's definitely harder in France than in the UK I feel.

But yeah, uni in the UK is great usually.

Yes, she was talking about that intensive stuff. I know she went there for 5 years!!! Long days, rarely holidays and always studying 😱 It is harder in France, but other countries do not value that, she can get any job she wants in France, but says people are having trouble getting work elsewhere...

Yesterday we did something fun for my grandmother, we went to a restaurant with her, she is very old and rarely goes outside. I went to bruges for a day with my sister. It's so pretty :D I think because of the whole French vs. Dutch thing they're a bit touchy in belgium. Yeah, about half normally.

It's a weird system that few people know about. We also have troube getting into foreign universities because we don't have the same vision of marking. We get bad grades very regularly even for pretty good work. I guess it's to stmulate us to do better but it's a bit depressing. The english system is much more encouraging.

That is really bad!!! I would definitly fail, I have performance anxiety and when getting one bad grade makes me perform only worse 😱 I sometimes even write comepletly wrong awnsers which I would not say wrong outside an exam, like saying that calcium is a vitamin and not a mineral ;-; I am glad you are on an English school ^____^

Yeah! I've actually found some really nice canal like places in oxford as well. I moved in like, a month ago, so I've been for a couple of runs, but I get lost every time still XD

I really like to walk with friends/sisters if I get the chance and I love it in beautiful environments even if the weather is not optimal 😊 A month is not long and sometimes there are just places where all the streets look so similair that it is very easy to get lost XD

Yes indeed, so terrible that your body just cannot cope with certain situations 😩 Some people say, do not worry you will do great, do not stress and so on... But in reality there is nothing you can do to control it :( just let it happen and hope for the best. I am just graduated this year, so I thankfully made it, but I almost could not handle the stress anymore 😅

The school I went was great (not all of the schools are like my school by far) and everything was given in English. One hour of lecture takes about 45 minutes, then we always have a 10 minute break before we continue. The lessons have a lot of variation, lectures, discussions ánd practicals are given in every course. A period is about 8 weeks, in these 8 weeks you can follow two courses of 6 ECTs. (Most) teachers treat you as equals, we are alowed to use their first name and allowed to speak informal to them. We all are assigned to a study coach, he motivates you and helps you when things get tough or with making decisions, you need to meet with him/her at least every half year. Is that pretty similair to England?
