Yes I will be leaving for 1-2 years. My boyfriend and I have talked about it for over a year so we know that it will be tough but it will set us up really nicely for the years to come after.

It is always super important to learn as much as you can at any job you have. I know that in my first degree with my prof I made sure that I did all the extra stuff he offered to learn so that I was a better rounded researcher when I graduated from the program! You seem to have the right attitude for academia so you will do great! I am sure of it!! :*

Man, the prices of the laptops are just ridiculous, especially for you then!!! What kind of laptop are you going to buy? I just looked to see the prices, the cheapest laptop I can buy in the store is 207 USD (9"), 258 USD for a 12" screen. These laptops are really basic XD A descent one costs 600 (but not really fast), high end laptops up to 3400 and the cheepest apple is 1200 USD. I hope they can fix mine 😁 saves me a lot of money, LOL. I hope you will find a relative cheap one before your boyfriend goes back to school, it sucks to have no laptop 😟

I hope that so much!!! Because she is really cute 😍 I have sat next to her many times and pet her, but she wants to play with my hands if I pet her... Her eyes go in play mood (large pupils) and she hits me with her paws and tries to "bite" my fingers (not hard). I actually do not want her to play, but she does it everytime I try to pet her :C

We got her from a women who said she is very social and always comes to sit near you, likes to be pet, never wants to go outside, etc. and in our experience she is just the opposite. But it turned out that this cat had no mum, because her mum rejected her kittens, she was raised by some farmer and then by that woman. So, maybe she is so weird because of her past...

I actually was talking to my boyfriend about laptops this morning. The one that he has is about 15".. and I think it cost about 1000. I don't need anything complex. I literally just use the laptop for internet browsing, Netflix and Subeta.
