Your majors sound interesting!!! Though I have no idea what it all involves 😕 Japanese in language, culture, history or all together? Can you describe Japanese and art a bit? Sorry, I am such a noob xD but I am interested in knowing more about it :)

I am now working on my final thesis in animal science. I have done two majors myself namely ecology; bee survival and animal science; nutrition and behaviour in pet cats.

it's alright! No need for apologies ^^ haha sorry for being so vague. Japanese as in the language, although I was required to take a few classes about the culture and Japan in general, so maybe a bit of that as well :p as for Art, it's just your general BA degree. So I take studio classes and get to make art, but not required to specialize in any sort of medium like a BFA, which is great for a jack of all trades like me, haha. Although I did take two Japanese Art History classes ^^ fascinating subject.

I'm guessing animal science is different from veterinary science? You must like cats and bees :p both fascinating creatures in my opinion ^^ I never knew until recently that cats practically have double the lifespan of a dog! haha.

Okay, wow, that is great!!! Why did you decided to study the Japanese language and art? Are you raised with the Japanese language? Cool, making art during classes xD Did you made a lot of art already? And are the pieces in your signature made by you or comparable to what you have made? (Assuming the left one being photographic art)

Animal science is indeed different from veterinary science, animal science is more the process before an animal gets ill, whereas veterinary science is more the part where an animal is ill. Although we have overlapping aspects/courses, like veterinary students joined us in immunology and thermoregulation. For my thesis I looked at possible factors of obesity in cats, which oddly has not been studied a lot. For my ecology thesis I looked at survival on colony level. Both confidential so I cannot go into details.

At first I was afraid for bees xD But they are not so bad, they are actually kind of cute once you know their behaviour and the reasons behind the things they do. They do not sting that often. Chances are a bit higher after the summer when resources are limit and prey is waiting to invade the hive to steal honey and kill larvae (especially wasps). And cats are not my favourite animals, though I started to like the cat of my parents very recently, which is a major progress xD Do(/did) you have any animals?

well I did grow up watching a lot of Japanese shows and have always had an interest in Japan/Japanese culture, but honestly I only began studying it because the opportunity arose itself and I just took it :p haha.

As for Art, I haven't made a lot yet :( honestly my first two years I didn't really focus too much on quality and quantity, but now I'm starting to get serious and trying to produce legit works for my portfolio since I'll be graduating soon. I think my photography has a different style than the ones in my sig :o but I do enjoy how they look ^.^

How interesting! I wish I had the passion for science courses :p I wonder why cat obesity hasn't been studied much? Especially since it's so common... I guess it's so common most people just overlook it? haha. And I love bees! Wasps are the ones I hate >.< aggressive little things. I enjoy watching documentaries with ecologists in it :p especially ants! ants are the best. Are they popular in the field?

I've had pets all my life haha. dogs, cats, rabbits, ferret, rodents, birds you name it I've had it :p at the moment I live alone with my two guinea piggies that I'm very attached to ❤ How about you? What got you into animal science and ecology?

I love art as well 😍 at least when it comes to designing things. I love to make items to release on subeta, although I am still learning how all these art programs are working XD And love looking at stunning photos and trying to make them myself :D I love applying henna too ❤ However, I am not so found on paintings, at least until certain extend. Though I love to have paintings in my house, when it does not involve people/animals (they always stare), they can be kind of creepy...

I have no idea why overweight cats are not studied that much, I think recent study even showed that in North-America alone 60% of the cats are overweight... LOL, maybe it is just too common indeed xD

I hate wasps too!!! And yes ants are very popular, they and bees both have altruistic behaviour which is pretty rare in wild life! And both have fascinating ways to communicate with each other.

Wow, a lot of animals. My parents did not want us to have animals for a long time, we had some fish and hamsters and after a lot of complaining even a couple of rats. When I started to mention I wanted to study something with animals I was allowed to have rabbits, I still have rabbits (four), actually my mom. And because some cat kept on coming into my parent's house, so they decided to keep it. How old are your guinea pigs right now?

I love how everything works even at cellular level :) just tiny creatures with a live of their own, their own structure, hierarchy and way to survive using different strategies and tactics. I have always been interested in the living things, they just surprise me how complete they are yet so small or so different from us. It gave me enough reason to study animal science. Ecology involves wild life and plants (including bees, forests and savannahs) it was supposed to be my minor, but I changed it into my major after I discovered how great it actually is. So I followed extra courses and prolonged my thesis.

Lol, it is great, I like it. I only feel bad that I do not respond so quickly, but I am more offline than online...

I used to live in Philly before I came here. I like how convenient everything is. Shipping here is fast and they even ship on Sundays, convenience stores open 24 hours like on every corner, everyone is really polite and the crime rate is super low. Lots I like about living here ^^

Henna is gorgeous! And so are your CWs! I'd totally buy some if I had the cash. Maybe I will eventually :D the textures look like they're hard to make, so I think it's impressive you can do it :o I was laughing when I hovered over the henna designs because they're hardly visible on my avi's skin tone hahaha xD And I used to feel the same way about paintings and even pictures (especially posters) as a kid!! haha, but not anymore. Weird eh? :)

Yeah my parents were pretty liberal with pets lol. The longest I've gone without having a pet is three years lol. Rabbits!? how are they btw? I heard they can be aggressive and hard to potty train. Unfortunately I was pretty small when I had rabbits so I don't remember much except how they looked and me petting them haha.

My guinea pigs are 6-8 months old roughly. Little babies they are. Still in the process of taming them haha, but they're getting better ❤ I love them as if they were my own kin xD although I don't treat them like human kids, that's just weird lol

I see, living things are fascinating. I didn't know ecology included things outside of wild life :o I'm glad you're studying something you really enjoy^^ so many people get stuck with majors they hate just to get money. I know money is important, but I just feel bad for them :/ You say you enjoy things at the cellular level, I think it's fascinating in a theoretical way, as in I like reading about it. But whenever I took science classes when we worked with things so small like atoms, hormones, etc my brain just loses touch for some reason D:

Nope, not at all. No vacation for me :( I work in retail and they black out November, December, and first few weeks of January. So we are unable to ask for time off. I seriously need a vacation though. I'm so tired already XD How have you been doing? :3

Lol I don't mind the questions ^-^ It's not exactly hard, it's stressful and tiring. I don't have many friends, I have my fiance and a couple people at work, but that's it XD Every once and a while I will hang out with my friends from work, but that's rare. On my days off I usually shop, relax, and clean XD

yeah I'm pretty much a homebody myself too. What do you do to relax? :) Also god I hate cleaning..
