First of all if I put thin in the wrong place forgive me. I have a terrible time figuring out where to post. I was wondering if pets using profiles from Subetalodge.org are eligible. Of course there is a story and stuff. Also what about pets with just plain colored backgrounds with stories and pictures? I don't like any art on my profiles, but Subeta art. Please ping me if you know. Thank you.
Hello !
What I'm actually working on with the spotlight is a way for users to help us pick out the profiles that they like. Right now, when staff are going through the pet spotlight there are lots of profiles that we are not sure about aesthetically, and that is one of the bigger problems with the way it's set up now. We can sometimes be way too strict or way too lenient! With the new way, we'll have a lot more eyes on the profiles, and people will be able to see that great variety of profiles that are being submitted, and we'll have a lot more of an idea of what the users want to see in pet profiles.
I like that you like our Subeta art! The best advice I can give is not to use colours that are too bright together (it hurts our eyes!) and make sure the information/picture sections look nice together - either lined up with each other, or in some sort of pattern. (Think of how a newspaper works in a grid - it's very clean looking!) A Subetalodge profile isn't going to be automatically denied, but we do prefer originality so it would need a strong story to go with it.
Good luck in making profiles! Hopefully soon (maybe next month, once I've had a chance to sit down with in person) we will be able to have the new system ready which should make things better for people :)
Thank you, . I have an original profile made by for my only Hannibal based pet left to win. She's been nominated. The only one of my pets that might hurt one's eyes is my Nuclear baby. I need to look up a better color. I love my stories on my two pets using subetalodge.org profiles. Would other people think them worthy. I do not know. Their treasure chests reflect their stories.
