News comments worth forum points as well?

I'm all for making it more common. I don't see the need for it to be added to news comments though
I wouldn't mind them adding the possibility to news comments considering there are threads that count our posts on the forums where all you literally have to do is post an item image and/or a copy/paste sentence (cough nope not spam right? X) not saying let's get rid of those threads because I like to post in them when I want to get my post count up but news comments being viewed as less than a forum post isn't really working when threads like these exist).
Glad the chance of forum points went up even if just temporarily. :D
can you make it so every time I post I get 2 tickets? Just me, no one else.

I can see the problems with people spamming the news comments because of the lack of an edit post feature. I'd love an increased chance to get points on the forums themselves though. A few days ago I posted more than 50 times that day and didn't get a single point. They must be really rare since I'm making an extra effort to post more than usual and still not getting anything. :(

Though I've not been active for a while I've posted at least five times in the past week which is a lot more than in the past several years and have not heard of forum points. Do what you want with that.
But then I don&;t know if that&;d be doable because people like me tend to spam a lot in the comments because I always forget something I&;ve got to say and I can&;t edit my post so I send multiple comments and it would be difficult for staff to control the spamming, right ? Because it&;d be too easy to send multiple comments just for getting points.
Or there should be an option to be able to edit your post then, I don&;t know ?
Wouldn't this be the staff's own fault for not allowing those comments to be edited? I hate that myself, I'm compulsive about my wording and can go back like five times to one post and sometimes over prolonged periods of time just fiddling with my wording hehe.
Well, as they are called comments, they are based on the same principle than comments on the user profiles and we can't edit them like a forum post but yeah, I know. All I would like is the news comments to be editable. I am the same and modify a hundred of times my forum posts because I make stupid mistakes or forget something to say. (So all that for saying that'd be nice to add that feature ! c: )
