I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Every once in a while I'll be doing my quests, and without noticing I'll accidentally try and purchase an item from my own shop. I use multiple tabs during my quests, so more often than not I won't even notice until I try to turn it in and have the quest fail. When this happens, I know there's no way I'm going to dig through all the items in my shop just to pull it out, so I end up buying an item I technically already own from the next seller.

I think it would be great if when you tried to purchase from your own shop, it prompted you asking if you'd like to remove the item and have it placed in your inventory.

EDIT This has been implemented! Click!

I think this has been shot down in the past because it would make certain achievements too easy.

I'll always support this suggestion.

- I think that's just the shop till achievement? If this is set up to remove the item from your shop instead of purchasing it, then it doesn't help you with that achievement. That's the only one I can think of that might be affected.

oh did this say without adding the sP to the till? I kinda just skimmed what it said. if it can be done to just move one thing into your inventory without any sP exchange that'd be convenient.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Just a quicker way to remove it from your shop and place it into your inventory, no sP exchanged. =)

This would be really useful. :3 I hate having to buy from the next person even if it's the same price (or lower) if I already own the item. :c

I hate the error message that comes when you accidentally purchase sth. from your own shop so full support for this suggestion!

Yes please. I would prefer if there wasn't a message asking you first though, I'd like it to just go ahead and remove the item. I mean, if for some reason you would prefer not to take the item out of your own shop and want to buy it instead, I think it should be on you to check first.

Maybe there could be a setting to toggle if it prompts you or not? That might be asking for a bit much, though. =P

I know staff has mentioned in the past that they don't really want to add more toggles (personally I don't see why, if it were up to me I'd add a toggle to like everything) but yeah that would be ideal if they're willing c:

This would be very useful. I don't usually bother taking items out of my shop when I do quests - way too tedious.

Yes, please. I usually do go around and take the item out, but this would be so much better.

I think I saw a thread similar to that one before with the proposition of removing the item from the shop as well. I am totally supporting this, it'd be very handy. I don't quest very often so that's not much my problem but I can understand the annoyance. :)

I would love for either this to happen or just not have our shops show up in the search at all. Either way solves the problem, though I'd rather it remove the items.

Well, I personally like to see my own shop in the list because then I know if I am the cheapest or not en can adjust my price in consequences if that makes sense :)

I definitely support this for all the same reasons. There's been a few times where I've taken an items out but only if the price has been high enough to make the extra time worth it.

I also have to agree with that I do like seeing my own shop in the SS. For items over 5mil I price by hand and always refresh the SS to double check that I priced it correctly.

Yes that's exactly what I do. I price, press enter then refresh to check if I haven't forgotten a '0' or something so that's handy to see the shop in the list.
