Got off work today and found out that Chris' aunts house burned to the ground. Everyone is fine but they lost everything. I spent the evening rounding up clothes for the kids, Jordan (My niece) cleaned out her closet, lol. I also bought some stuff at the dollar store. I got plenty for the oldest who is nine but the little ones I don't know a lot of people with kids that have outgrown stuff their sizes. Other people are looking too so hopefully we'll have them sorted with the stuff they need soon. They did have insurance with is good. Just pray for the family. There are four kids ages 2-9. Boy clothes are hard to find.
Anyway, enough sad stuff. I'm going to mosey over here and curl up on a comfy beach chair and relax while I drift off to sleep with the sound of the ocean crashing against the shore. I really will be playing that on my sleep app when I get in bed in a few minutes, lol. Hope all have a good night!
Thank you, Chris and the girls for the hugs . I feel so bad for Chris' aunt and her family. I know how that feels. We had a house burn down when our kids were 5, 9 and 10. It's not the big items that are hard to lose if you have insurance. It's the small things that the kids are totally attached to and things you've kept for sentimental reasons. We were away at the time so at least weren't there to watch it go up and were safe. I pray the family is able to get everything they need and have some place to stay.

totally agree. Even though I never lost a house to fire, I couldn't imagine losing things. We Have our pet's cremated, and losing their urns would be devastating. Plus getting our 2 birds, dog, and my hermit crab out would be difficult, and we wouldn't be able to rescue our fish (we've grown attached to our Oscar and betta.)

I've been away for a few days and it looks like I've missed quite a bit, not much of it good :( I'm so sorry to hear about the tragedies and illnesses you've been facing and rooting you on in my own corner of the world.

I haven't been on the computer much because I'm trying to stay off in the afternoons and actually get up and do things around here...I've lost 22 pounds but I'm stuck on that and haven't dropped anymore...30 pounds to go and I am DETERMINED!!!!
It's going to be SOOOO hot here this week, a hundred plus everyday!! UGH! So all of us going to the beach is perfect!
