there really is a holiday here in which there is a zombie infection, and it really does happen around 14 Feb. There really is a holiday here in which folks dress up in masks and dance. The rest of my reply is goofy and a guess. There are folks who complain in Feedback about how everything is becoming edible, and there is also a thread in Suggestions-Items where you can Suggest something become edible. Take that however you wish.
The capcha and haggle loss are not at the suggestion of die-hard restockers IMO. We don't like them because they make making a profit harder for us, and their absence makes it easier for autobuyers. Most users prefer to Vend or Quest to make sP, and it is those users who want buying from NPC shops to be zipless because there's a time-premium for completing quests sooner. The site itself also wants them to be buying from NPC shops as this destroys sP instead of sloshing it around.
The price variation between cheaper than NPC or more expensive than NPC shops has to do with rarity limits on Vending Machines. Back when Vending was at-will, everything that was below the (higher then) rarity limits because quite inexpensive. This bothered users who felt that higher rarity MUST equal higher sP-value. You will find the prices for things go up and down more here than there.
I think the big issue with the warning for rs was that even just the loading time for that, and clicking, can mean missing a new or super rare item. Its so much easier for me now, as I mainly use sub on an ipad. So it was just a good change to keep rs a thing.
They do have conformation stuff on anything else though. Like holiday shops/cash shop/pawn shop...etc. But it doesnt matter that much if you accidentally buy a reg shop item. Most cost next to nothing, and can just be saved for rb/resold for around the same price.
I dont know squat about battle though lol! So cant help you there. I sure wish I had the patience for all its reloading. Heres hoping for a day they change it as they did the flash games, making it just move a turn with out all the darn slow headachey reloading pages.
Fret not, I'll learn most things soon, and the hard way if anything, as it should be XD Yes the 'plenty of dirt cheap ultra-rare items' and 'fluctuate all day errday' thing is reminiscent of NuP and that's good. I'd prefer that instead of Neo's thing where expensive things just get more expensive and cheaper things get so cheap you wish there was a smaller denomination than 1np. And the solution to bringing down iem prices is to release massive quantities of expensive and rare items out into the public. Ahem.
I have yet to experience slow loading of any sort here, except for the flash and java games maybe but even then insignificantly. Perhaps my loading time is already slow to begin with. Or I just can't tell because I'm not a restocker XD
This is now becoming a chat board and I've already gotten an answer for my question, so Ima take my leave. Thanks all of you for your input; every bit helps :)
