The change has already caused dark potions (not boosters, cheap things that most battlers use frequently) to become more expensive. It actually took quite a bit of work and time to get a good amount of boosters from the mystery box, it was more frustrating than anything, and I never really got that many even if I put in a few hours of clicking. It just seems like taking away the sources of boosters is hurting the people who don't buy boosters more than it hurts the rich people.

Maybe have a permanent supply of dark element potions in the Apothecary at a set price? People use them a lot they are one time use items, they always will be in demand?

or remove apothecary from the mystery box and make it a decent shop again? as it sits, the mystery box is awful for apothecary right now, no one in their right mind will use it. yay useless features

Or remove the Mystery Box?

It used to be worthwhile, now, not so much anymore?
