Seeing as everything can be bought from the MC, now, It's sorta taken the value down a notch.

It'd be nice if the scrolls from the tablets were taken out so thst whatever it is that comes from them at the end doesn't become run-of-the-mill. People had three months to buy the scrolls. That's plenty of time. Maybe give one extra month at the higher price before removing the scroll completely. This way it'll retain its value instead of depreciating

Call me unfair if you will but the same thing was done with the research notes. It makes sense that a unique item such as this remains welll unique; especially when you were given plenty of time to get the scrolls.

The point of the change was that things didn't become uber rare, so that resellers can't have a field day.

I completely forgot about the Big Riddle, and didn't get around to buying the spring scroll before the seasonal change. I'd be super pissed if they removed an item to keep it "unique" when its significance was only alluded to once and said significance wasn't going to come into play until December. I fail to see why keeping something available year round is going to cause it to depreciate in value. More fool anyone who buys it and trys to sell it at a profit.

Because newer users or people coming back from hiatus after the season don't deserve shit, right?

The drawback is already that the people who missed out need to buy it at a markup, I don't know why this one particular piece should be removed from the set just to keep the end prize special when I see no indication that they won't stick around next year + beyond anyway?

This suggestion comes off as really illogical to me considering that no one but staff even knows what's going to happen with these items.

I'm betting anyone who supported this would think it's a great idea unless they were temporarily frozen or couldn't log on for a few months and missed one. Then they'd be pissed. There are a plethora of event/battle/achievement items that are unobtainable for new users (as well as the majority of old ones). I don't think items that stock in any shop for SP should follow that model.

People can go make CWs if they want something other users can't have.

I mean, I really can't get behind this. Why should we punish people who didn't know about the major riddle? I didn't know about it until someone mentioned in it the SB. On top of that, it is a book, so let's not punish people who want to read it to their pets (like, I try to read to two of my pets, but books aren't my priority, so idk I'd be hella bummed if I missed this because I was too busy ... you know... buying all the other collection items because I thought I could get it next season ?_? )

It's all about resale value, market prices and how to make sure people get the maximum profit nowadays.
