I went looking for the daytime Riverside map to compare with the nighttime map we just got, and it turns out the whole map got a revamp. They even gave the ontras ears and extra fins to match their redesign. :o

I wouldn't have noticed the changes to the daytime one, but it's nice to see the small tweaks xD I really like the night time maps, they look great

Wow the colors got toned way down on the new one. The river looks so much nicer now too! Although I feel like some of the recycle beast pile lost some of it's shading. Like a lot of the items in the pile look flat to me.

Veta got a night map too, and I love the changes made to Riverside.

But I noticed the Sacred Lands lost its night map. I'm guessing it's a glitch.

Oh... that's... really well thought. Nice. I like it. So Kuwabara will be at the shrine during daytime, now?

big improvement! I had to pull up both next to each other to truly compare them. The colors look so much nicer now and it's easier on my eyes!!

Interesting, honestly I spent like 10 minutes trying to tell the difference between the two maps.. finally I realised that the river was the main difference.

Love the revamp! I didnt notice the daytime too but now I notice that it has more shading and depth~

I like the more muted color palette. It gives Riverside a swampier feel, so it's more distinguished from Veta Lake and Peka Glade. I also really like how the cabins in the background were toned down so they don't distract from the actual interactive points on the map. I'm really happy with the thought that went into this revamp.

You can even see the reflections of Charity's buildings in the water. :o

I just have to say i'm in love with the night versions of the maps. I'm not sure if i like everything being toned down on the riverside map, I think I prefered the river on the old one because it looked like an actual moving river while the new one is more a slow stream.

Can I just say that I love the new direction that is being taken on the area maps? Cause it's so damn awesome. I, for one, cannot wait to see the Omen Islands map when it finally comes out. It is going to be badass, I can feel it.

The Nighttime additions are so cool!

I wouldn't have even noticed that Riverside's daytime map was revamped if it hadn't been pointed out, but, wow, now that I look at it I really like the changes. I like that the brightness is toned down and plants have been added here and there. It resembles the Riverside Valley site theme more now, imo, which is great.

Also loving the new night maps in general. :)

I'm always gonna be that grouchy old man about Pete's eyesore of a burger building :p But this update looks really nice and seeing the lands of Subeta getting so much attention is fantastic.
