I take it Keith is currently doing work on the battle page?

I can use my scrolls, yes, but the page is large, awkward, and the print is all jumbled together. Also, you have to keep refreshing after each move and I want to pick up my laptop and hurl it at the wall. Will that help?

Doubtful that will help. My page isn't large and awkward, but I do have that refreshing issue like a lot of other people do.

Lol. Are you always this calm and level headed? It scares the beans outta me that Staff is now going to "fix" the Weapons page. Oh Gosh.

I try to be, it's a lot more productive to be calm than to overreact to things that will get fixed and things I have little impact over :P

Well it will be worth it when they add multiple sets. Battling with different pets that are different tiers is a nightmare the way it's set up now. you either have to select your different weapons each time or mess up your default set every time you want to battle with your other pets. Multiple sets will really help this out.

Sure it will help, IF IT WORKS! I am going to my closet now to pray for all of us battlers and for the staff to fix things speedily. Ohmmmmmmmm

they won't put it up and not fix it if it doesn't work right away. but it should work very similarly to how the scroll library works (will work), so any bugs they have with the weapons will probably have similar solutions, allowing them to be fixed quickly.

after this release, they may test the weapon thing much more thoroughly.

I just hope eventually the link to your scrolls on the battle pet widget is changed to the scroll library link.

I can't wait for the new weapons sets tbh. I'm trying to be optimistic about these changes too because I really like battling and anything that can speed up/streamline the process is a welcome change.

I was having the widened page issue until I used a bunch of my one-use items (mostly potions I stocked on my pet back when she was still a little weaker thing). Once I cleared out those, the page shrank back to normal, but it would have been nice not to have to waste them essentially because there was no second row action going on.

As of the morning of 6/10 I was still having to manually refresh to do BQ. I haven't tried to battle much since the changes were implemented because I got stuck in one battle and don't really want to go through that mess again.

Overall, I wish that the start battle button was moved up too (like a lot of people), but also ultimately I would like to see something that functions a bit like this:

1. select pet from available battle pets that are fed and happy
2. full stats for that pet appear upon selection (including AP, and HP)
3. if this was not the pet you were intending on using, then a 'return to pet selection' button would be below the pet and stats to return you to the previous choices

This ideally would be a non-refreshing page situation too... it would be fluid so there was no indication that the site was functioning. Of course, that would take a lot of coding, I know (or rather, I assume it would) but at the same time it answers a lot of questions that I know I have when I size my pet up to an opponent. *How do our stats compare? Well, it's easiest to have them side by side. *Is my pet's HP full or not? I can't tell you how many times I forgot to heal before battle (whoops).

It's the little things in life, honestly.

Still, thank you again to Keith & co for making this happen, and working to make it through the bugs. It's a big leap from where BC was, even if there's still a long way to go.

there's a slight difference in weapons and scrolls usage.

people do switch weapons around a lot and try new things, especially with different pets or opponents. every tier may have a different set, heal/freeze restrictions changes the set.

Scrolls, however, tend to be very consistent. 2-3 sets basically cover every situation.

so im interested to see how it plays out.

i cannot do a screen shot but mine is like others the scroll now shows up but the battle just keeps loading .. and its looks like it take 2 pages up side ways does not fit on to my screen there are posting of what mine look like as its the same.. and did clear my dater and such..

and i have to refresh to get the battle to end. and then again..then it says that no battle so like every one ..

Is there any way to fix it when you cannot use your default scroll set? My pet has 90AP, the scroll set costs 90AP, too and I have set it to default yet I cannot use it. My second set (40AP) I could use though.

Tried hard refreshing on every page connected with the scrolls but so far had no luck. x_x

Nevermind it works when I take one Shriek out and make it 75AP. Will resort to that as I'm too tired for further experiments.

That "fix" screwed up my battle screen. Spells that were on the same line are now broken into two lines. Weapons are now taking up two lines where they always use to take up one line.

Yes, page is stretched when I first enter battle. Page is still stretched after whatever you changed, and like ColdDragon said, my five scrolls now take up two rows although 8 weapons and 20 shards/potions/pylonics only take up one.

My scrolls seem to be working fine, and the battle page itself looks fine, but loading is just... not happening at all. Had to go through statistics to get my pet out of battle, and then it just kept showing that it was loading but not moving again. It must actually be completing the actions as I ended up finishing the battle without having to withdraw, but it's simply refusing to load to the next page.

I'm on chrome if that helps
