Hi. I have 3 cats and they all live inside. and gave you really good advice. For wet food I use Fancy Feast ($0.65ish/can) and Sheba ($0.50/can) which are good. Also canned albacore tuna in water ($1.50/5oz can). I read wet food is good at preventing hairballs so we give it to our cats twice a day and they have dry food in their bowls if they get hungry. We give each about a little less than 1/2 a tablespoon. You can just eyeball that. And my cats love sleeping on my bed because I make a "nest" of blankets. And have kitty treats. They love laying on papers too. All over my homework and textbooks haha. Good luck! :D

Next time you go grocery shopping get both paper and plastic bags. Be sure to stock up on them since if your cat decides they're awesome it'll rip them up, puke on them and sometimes pee on them. Save some old towels as well as any cardboard boxes you get for bedding and hiding places. If you decide you want to try a laser pointer get a cheap one first since some cats won't play with it once they realize it can't be caught.

Oh, and keep the lid on the toilet down.
