All of them are actually good if you're smart about it. Do your research, do them during the week during normal times, and figure out how they all work individually, in general. In terms of cost vs. payout, how it differs with number of items requested, and such. Then you'll know about what to expect going into WSQ, and you can play around a bit with risk. I try to do all quests every day, except rarely Cinthia because she often is just a pure gamble, even if it is only ~10k or so. If I do have to skip some, I skip the ones that aren't as profitable in sp, because that's my main goal right now.
Once you get to know the limits of each quest giver, as in the max to pay for a 3 item quest for Saggi, a 2 item quest for Maleria, Mori vs. Nori, stuff like that, you'll make a killing on WSQ (and during the week as well). Especially after a run or two at each, when you really get a feel for them as WSQ. You'll learn when you can take a risk with a more expensive item, and when you shouldn't.
Also, Cursed is awesome as WSQ, just saying.
If you want to make a profit, you need to learn how to make a profit. Staff shouldn't have to tweak stuff when we feel we're not getting everything we want.
And inb4 I don't have time to do all that, so just do it for one quest giver at a time until you learn them all. One set of quests a day takes less than 10 minutes. If you don't have time for that, then there's nothing anyone can do to help you make more sp :)
I could not have put it any better than . It's all about learning the curve basically. If it's not profitable, it's because you are allowing it not to be. Set a limit for how much you are willing to spend for each quest giver (I told a few friends of mine just starting out recently to not pay more than 25k a quest for the time being til they earned up some savings and really began rolling, and by the time they got a good bit of padding, they'd already know what's good, bad, and ugly about most of the quest givers). If it violates your limit, just don't do it.
Personally I think the WQs are great as is. Sure, I'd like one or two to pay out better, but who wouldn't? Sadly, you have to balance the economy against blind dumping of money and items into the system.
Sorry, but I'm not in support of the request to change. Maybe if there was a more compelling reason, but not based on what you've provided.

I really don't get why people hate the Library Quests. With the sP Alexander gave me added in I spent maybe 40k on the 4/10 quests I was able to complete today and received items in return that I can sell for 200k+. Not sure what others regard as a good profit but in my opinion that's not shabby at all, in fact if the crazy prices of books would come down again I think he'd be a gold mine. Oh, and let's not forget about all the Wishlist items I got from him!
As for the WQ, as others have already stated, if you figure out how to work with the different quests you will see that there's actually nothing wrong with them.
Alexander's quests are my favourite of all the quests. I get so many wishlist items from him, whether he's the weekend quest giver or not, and the chance for retired books, or just plain rare books to sell for my TC fund, and 15 chances every day?
I'd love to see more quests do that with such consistency, lol.
Everyone else has said it better than me though: questing is a gamble, and you learn as you go what limits to set and when to just call a quest a loss.
