Yeah, CSC has inflated a ton the past couple of years, so it's hard to price things evenly between CSC and sP - because, say, if you priced something as 2000 CSC, that would easily be 100mil sP or more, and that just feels like so much to pay for art even though it's definitely worth it. For the record though, I'd easily pay 1500 CSC and above for what you just drew for me! And another thing to take into account is how long it takes you to complete a commission... I mean, if you spend 5 hours on something, and 900 CSC = $9 US dollars (minimum wage, essentially), it's perfectly acceptable to charge 4500 CSC and the sP equivalent for your art. I know I sure would.

Haha, sorry, I'm kind of rambling now, aren't I? tl;dr I definitely wouldn't go below 1500-2000 CSC ($15-20) for anything unless it's super simple and quick. And it'd totally be fine to get into higher ranges depending on complexity!

You basically hit the (worrying) nail on the head, the idea of charging 100mil seemed so out there to me. But it does seem like a lot of people are basic prices in CSC rather than SP these days. Hmmm I think this is giving me a pretty good starting point though, so thank you!

I couldn't believe when I saw people were paying 100mil or more for a single piece of artwork, but I guess the times have changed on the good ol' Subeta... But I can't argue against it since these are the fairest prices I've seen for all Subeta artists in a long time. I remember when the "popular" artists would/could easily charge $50 for a commission, while anyone who wasn't "popular" had to severely underprice their work. I'm glad it's becoming more acceptable to charge more!
