I'm sorry, I don't quite get your suggestion. You want to be able to exchange wizard token for referral points, and viceversa?

More generally, exchange large amounts of common currencies (like wiz tokens, or crystals, or trinkets, etc, etc), for small amounts of rare currencies. I was actually chatting with some people awhile back about this in the context of being able to exchange large amounts of common currencies for retired event currencies, since so many of those items are unbuyable. But of course now we have the antique shop, which hopefully will solve that problem. The idea is similar though -- make referral points very expensive and difficult to get (via an appropriate exchange rate), but slightly more obtainable for users who just aren't going to be able to get them otherwise. Something to work towards, rather than having to stalk the boards to find somebody with enough points that they are willing to sell.

Side note: does anybody know how many referral points exist on site? I'm curious now :)

But wouldn't that be the same as completely removing referral points and selling items in that shop for high amounts of wizard tokens? That's why I said it was kinda pointless. Also, happy birthday :)

Thanks for the birthday wishes :)

I'm not sure it would be the same as removing referral points -- users who have referral points stockpiled could still sell them for a high price, and users who have no problems finding friends willing to sign up could still earn them. Much easier to get them the normal way if you're able, than to grind away at quests (or some other activity) until you have enough currency to exchange.
