It's the Gearwork Goose from Crystania, BUT, after being yanked up by a wizard, spun through space, and crashed down on Tony and Jedro's old place, making that one into a basement, well, it's just not quite the same.

It's being repaired and it will be there for our adventurers, but, with materials the way the are in Bordertown, the Gearloose Goose is born!

Nope. That was the crew from Crystania. Your characters are going to board the Floating Frenchman with Lucien and try to navigate through the darkfog to the squirrel in time to save it from destruction. (This is Chapter 2 on May 22nd.)

I guess I am confused as to where we are meeting, what tavern did we take the faerie into that had the message? Sorry if this was asked already.

The tavern near wherever you happened to be at the time. The faerie messenger is only a plot device to get you to assemble and go to the crossroads so Lucien can pick you up, and to give all our new players a chance to settle in over a longer time period.

I'm going to answer you question on this thread rather than the chapter thread since it's OOC.

From what I'm seeing, no one's been playing introductions, but rather preparation and "what we've been doing in the meantime" stuff, along with spreading the info out to the team.

These are optional and not being scored. Basically, folks are simply having fun with this, and that's most certainly allowed.

The only entry to be scored is the one due for the whole assembled teams on or before May 22nd. Hopefully, that resolves your team's issue?

We are seeing some people posting individual introductions, so or question is this...are we allowed/supposed to post an individual intro for our character and then have a single post that shows all of the team together along with a group RP about how we got to the crossroads to wait for Lucien? Or are we posting individual HAs and RPs about our preparations?

Oh, you're welcome. It's a big event because of the plotline, so avoiding confusion is a really good thing! :D

I'm going to answer you over here instead of on the story thread. If you have, for example, two dogs who are your constant companion, then they would count as a single companion, but you could have them on your HA.

Each player may bring a companion, or may choose not to have a companion at all.

quick q, we kinda did summery intros--that's okay right, then a quick rp meeting back up and all? What do you mean exactly by preparations? I'm not trying to be obtuse but I'm not sure exactly how we can prepare for going on board the flying frenchmen, we'd have brought weapons or whatever naturally.

It's a quick intro and an HA contest. That's it. You've already got it right.

You do, but it doesn't have to be elaborate. This is scored on participation only because it's the intro for everyone.

Eensy weensy question - where are we meeting the Frenchman? Like...in a field, in the spot where the Squirrel normally is? Just don't want to end up meeting up with everyone in a place that doesn't make sense to the story ❤️

Since all our characters are new we're hoping to include a bit of our story on how we came to be, is that ok or are you looking for a small blurb? Right now we're looking about a 4 post tale, I'm trying to think about how to shorten it.

The second chapter will start with all of you presumed to be on board the Frenchman, so not to worry.

Ok last question,How many hours left till deadline? I didn't see a pm or am in the original post on the chapter 1 board...I am only asking because I have a graduation ceremony to get to tomorrow and am needing sleep so I am hoping I still have time left to get this done and posted for my team.
