It is ridiculous how many amulets I have to turn in to get a tome. Definitely not 1 in 6 at this point. Is anyone else experience a huge nerfing of odds?

this was brought up a while back ~Jan 2015 and it was tested, then confirmed by programmers that the ratio wasn't touched. LINK

@ Andrew I know that thread. I'm talking about the last couple of weeks, though. I've turned in many many many amulets. This last round was 15 shards, 1 tome. I'm not the only one who has noticed that the chances for a tome seem to have been altered and rather dramatically, though. @ rocketlauncher

Anyhow, this is what I got recently. I didn't bother buying amulets when by the end of April it's apparent that both our results are lackluster. 1 Shard - 5/5 6 Shard - 5/4 1 Shard - 5/3 2 Shard - 4/30 1 Shard - 4/28 1 Tome - 4/24 1 Shard - 4/24 1 Shard - 4/23 6 Shard - 4/22 1 Shard - 4/21 3 Shard - 4/20 1 Shard - 4/19 1 Shard - 4/18

You easily had double digit shards between each tome since early April. Sometimes that happens once or twice, but it's very strange when you did towards 100 amulets. I hope you've been keeping track of them all.

@ Rocketlauncher I've only kept track through comments/smail, so very loosely and not concrete. I can keep track here? :P 4 more amulets, 4 more shards.

I just turned in 93 amulets and got 18 Tomes. This is pretty close to 1 in 6. Either you're unlucky, or Subeta's seed for this is weird and one needs to turn in a lot at one time to get it to work properly.

I can see this thread as belonging here since it's about how Subeta works, so there's no need to move it IMO. If you like I think it could easily also be in Games as it's a game of chance, or in Battle since it's about stat-boosters.

Anyway, just tested with some of my precious and here are the results:

(tomes/amulets) dark 5/35 death 2/13 earth 9/66 fire 15/78 life 8/34 light 7/47 magma 6/30 water 5/29

total 57/332 So about 17% of amulets turned into tomes for me.

Just now I got 75 tomes out of 455 amulets That's pretty close to 1 in 6. You get a better read of the true ratio with a larger sample size. Sounds like you're due for a run of good luck!

I am with you in the luck. Two days ago I turned in 400 amulets and got 48 tomes. :/

I just turned in 22 amulets. 0 tomes.

Mage is being really rough with me too, of my roughly 30 Prodigy amulets I got 2 Tomes I think. I also bought 50 and got 5 amulets so a 1/10 chance there.

I've turned in about fifteen amulets in the last ~week and haven't gotten a single tome. Stupid stingy Mage.

Throw 250 ( or atleast 100 ) amulets in invent and then go turn them in... the more you do at once - seems to give better tome results.

this is more like my luck i'v turned in over 120 in last 2wks and got 2 tomes :(
