Do any of these preliminary designs come close to what you're looking for? I attempted to incorporate some of the 404's more distinctive features, but still make him distinctly a dragon. Color pallette is just a rough first draft, will definitely do a lot more mossy green details once his shape is decided on.

Ahh, OK. Since he's blind, do you want the eye orbs in the forpaws to be crystals?

You don't have to put anything there on his paws. He senses through nature. So if you want to use moss, leaves, or whatever, but you really don't need to add anything special.

The lovely folks at Best Buy have been trying to recover my files, but it's taking longer than expected. I'm so frustrated with myself for not saving my work in progress to a USB stick. Plus only having computer access when I'm at work is a real bummer. On the up-side I have more time to work on getting my attic cleaned out for an actual painting studio, so I can get going on some large scale work soon. But you're right. I'm chewing my nails in panic right now.

Try not to worry too much, worry makes for sloppy results... at least it does when I worry. :) I don't mind the wait at all. I also make the same mistake of not saving on USBs so I know exactly where you're coming from.

Good news and bad news.

I have a home computer again, but my old one with all my art was not salvageable. So I'm starting from scratch. It's been a while (I'm so sorry) so I want to be sure I'm going in the right direction with Loam.
