That's really strange. For the longest time on the consistency thread, it was stated that those items wouldn't be having their names changed because of that problem. I wonder why they were changed now?

Ariel confirms they shouldn't have changed and that they'd left them out of the changes on purpose so she's not sure what happened. They've been fixed back to "bean bag" here and they're going to try to sort how to remove them from collections (if it's possible).

Meh. They didn't 'unfeed' the Elephant Teapots way back when. They really shouldn't bother removing them from people's collections if they got in there legally.

Not sure what's going on, but I'm trying to add the latest batch of CWs to the site (I have my pin turned off here) and I put in the two sets of Item IDs (starting and ending) and my UN and PW and click Submit Query and it's just refreshing the page. It's not adding them or giving me an error or anything - it's just refreshing the add cws page.

Nevermind, whatever it was fixed itself. I tried logging out and in and that didn't work, but my dumbass totally forgot to clear my cache and see if that was the issue. It seems like it was.

I am home and bored lol Feeling pretty good when I take my pills in plenty of time. I have a wound vac attached to my abdomen and am not allowed to sleep on that side which is my best side for sleeping but I suppose I will adapt. :p

mostly I'm fine, just some old people complaints.

Summer's rough on me. I'm allergic to all sorts of bugs and grasses and trees. The heat makes my ankles swell like balloons. My legs and feet are hot, but I wear a sweater because my arms get cold, especially when I turn on the A/C to deal with the swelling issues. So nothing major, just minor stuff that's pretty constant all summer.

How long do you have to have the wound vac attached? Sounds uncomfortable!

ugh, isn't aging fun? I have been dealing with swelling ankles too but not the allergies. I must finally be old enough to not be bothered by them lol. I am sorry you are, though. The summer constants, the winter constants, is there ever going to be a GOOD constant again?

They are saying 21 says for the vac but I am hoping and praying it is less. I am hoping to return to work on the 11th and would prefer to do that without the vac.

LOL well I've never liked summer, so that's nothing new. I did used to love winter, but as I age I'm finding it getting unpleasant, so yeah, no more good seasons!

Do not google image search "wound vac"! I was wondering how big it was to lug around work, so I went to look. I was expecting pictures of a machine, maybe a medical type applying it or something. But no, I got great big huge close up shots of wounds, mostly without the machine. Didn't even really get a sense of the size of the machine because the shots that actually showed the machine where so close up that I really couldn't tell what body part they were attached to, not giving me a sense of the size.

Hopefully you'll be able to get rid of it before restarting work.

I have learned throughout this whole ordeal to NOT google images for equipment or conditions! Sorry you did too!

The one I have is actually a mini one. The battery pack tucks into my bra but there is a good bit of tubing to deal with. Mostly it is just not quiet.

Ah, that's much neater, more compact, "prettier" for lack of a better word than ones I glimpsed in google. I even watched a few minutes of the video which did a nice job of showing its use and apparent size.

Still, I get why you'd want to be done with it before work, especially if its noisy.

I know you were talking with someone who used to have a forum account but someone "lost" it. Did you ever figure out what happened there? IDK how many people this affected but I have found quite a few HERE. I only realized this because one of them needed a change. As you see the posters are all listed as guests.

I'm not sure what happened -- I know it happened before 2018, because I have a backup from January and they were 'guests' by then. There's an option in SMF to remove 'inactive' members (it's under 'admin' and then 'forum maintenance'), and it's possible that someone ran that option, maybe back when the forums were getting spammed on a regular basis. That was about the time I was brought on as a programmer, and I might have even done it myself (although I honestly don't remember doing so).

The original accounts are gone, unfortunately -- they're not present on the oldest backups I have. However, if anyone who lost their original account wants to create a new account, I have the ability to take all their 'guest' posts and attribute them to their new account.

huh. Like you, I don't remember ever pushing that button but nothing is impossible. Especially, as you said, with all the spam we were getting there for a while.

I will let them know their posts can be merged with a new account.
