Magic Box Restocked 56 minutes ago sadface

Spells Galore: multiple items stocked with 30+ and above. At least one item (Gourd) currently stocked with 63 of it available in store.

This was the starkest example I could list. The other shops I checked (Bake Shop, Thimble & Co, Plushie Palace, etc.) wobble between having hardly anything (a few in stock of everything regardless of rarity), to having 20+ of the commonplace items again like before.

Apocalyptic Apothecary keeps having nothing in stock at all, like it's clearing itself out constantly (I find it difficult to believe everyone on site is buying these common items every couple minutes but I could also be wrong; I do know this one's been consistent all week at least, save today where it suddenly has no items in stock for going on several minutes now, while other stores aren't doing the clearing-out they used to).

I will note that items are stocking. Some of the amounts change, and new items sort of trickle in by ones and twos on occasion, but it really feels like something's off, especially seeing 63 of an item in stock like that, tacked on with previous notices in this thread and the other thread about the restock times listed in shops being so delayed once more.

I've also noticed that the shops are taking much longer to restock over the past few days. Prior to this it seemed like everything was restocking at a reasonable rate.

Yes, I'd have to agree. Doesn't seem that anything worth buying is stocking, but lots of other stuff is. The original idea of temporarily retiring things that aren't bought from the NPC shops over a period of time sounded like a good one. I don't think that the changes that have been made have moved things in the right direction - seems to be the opposite. Here are just a few of the many examples.

Enchanting Dust - user shop price 2,499 sP 9,424 sP 246 in stock

Peppermint Cream Cake - user shop price 1,580 sP 2,306 sP 102 in stock

Rabbit Foot - user shop price 448 sP 459 sP 75 in stock

Papaya - user shop price 1,690 sP 2,200 sP 110 in stock

I have to say that the amounts stocked will sure make the Recycle Beast happy, but outside of that I can't think of a good reason to keep that many in stock.

Looks like the stocking is back to the cycle of "stocking too many of a thing" again. There was a brief sweet spot this weekend where things were cycling in and out and rare items were stocking occasionally, and I almost thought it was fixed again.

Weapons Warehouse has anywhere from 50-100+ of some items, just as an example. 8|

Keith just switched back to the pre-changes way of RSing so we are assuming that it is just all the backlog of stock that didn't come out when it was supposed to. A lot of users think it will go back to normal the next time shops clear.

Shops haven't restocked for nearly an hour and a half :( How long is this supposed to last?
