It's not the most amazing book in history, but I enjoy it ;w; the idea of a world primarily populated by vegetation, giant insects, sentient fungi, human-subspecies and baboon people and vegetable-animals just gives me far too many ideas for lush looking items. I'm definitely up for cute things, I just need someone to come up with those ideas XD

Yeah, I'm all for mixing that stuff in with more modern/dystopian/etc. items, I just don't want to go too far in the other direction and then I can't get all Raygun Gothic if I want to.

To me, the more variety in sci-fi eras, the better. I don't want 10 pets with all the same western-dystopian-modern weapons in their TCs, I want 10 pets with a nice variety of different items covering a genre that's had many interesting trends ❤️ Give me my Chappies and my NS-5s and my Marias and everything in between.

Yes, exactly! I haven't been very good with words lately, I'm afraid, but this is exactly the kind of thing I'm trying to get across. Every era and trend and aesthetic SF has ever had = good.

Including less western orientated items, I don't have the time now to do my research, but I'd be VERY surprised if there weren't lesser known sci-fi films and stories outside of the US/Euro-centric circles we're mostly used to. I know the French came out with some weird stuff P= but that's the limit of my knowledge atm. I'd be really interested to see what other cultures have introduced to the genre P=

I think the Atebus shop stock needs help, more than the shop itself. It also needs a rename-- something related to Blackmoon. A lot of the stock should be given to stargazer, or it should be moved to relevant shops (food to food, plushies to plushies, lockers burned and replaced with something people care about-- I hope the VCRs go with them, for the record).

I really don't want to see it culled. Before I even made my way to the board that started all of this, and I was filling out the survey one of the three shops I mentioned WAS the Atebus shop because I've been holding out false hope that one day the news would update and I'd be floored with an overloading amount of Cyberpunk everythings and I'd squeal and roll around and life would be great.

Timejump to today, the shop is going to be culled instead.

Balloons? Okay, they.. don't really deserve an entire shop. Graveyard? No I didn't like that one either, I wanted a goth chick named Lilith or something with a dapper parasol to run it and it get a ton of creepy weird stuff and goth fashion and morbid victorian era oddities (like mourning gear, and hair jewelry) and quack medical stuff and skeleton models and everything!

But this one (Atebus Shop) makes me sad too. Just... just.. no. Please subeta just take a moment to expand on what you started (see OP, everything about Blackmoon and what's he's done in the past -gargled noises-). I just.. I...

Oh, yeah, there's tons of stuff out there! There's a pretty vibrant SF community in West and South Africa, as far as I know, and there's tons of Soviet/Russian stuff, and Japan has a long history with the genre. Specific works from those areas aren't particularly well-known in the West, generally, but there are definitely "looks" that could be used without a direct reference being made.

I literally have an entire pintrest board on Shadowrun, and it has over 3k pins. Subeta needs more cyberpunk and sci-fi type clothing. I would love to see ultra 80s cyberpunk styles, super neon. Max Headroom era.

ftr i just wanted to state that i agree with the sentiment of "dont phase out retrofuture items," because those definitely have their place on here. rather, we should embrace a mixing of retrofuture, dystopian future, cyberpunk, and ALL the assorted futuristic/space-faring genres.

With item art updates and new sci-fi items (of all kinds) added Atebus Shop would easily become my favorite main shop. In fact, I feel like this theme could support multiple shops, one for each of the main genres. I'd be raiding them for TC items. So many of my pets have an underlying sci-fi theme that I can't really express for lack of options. I need these items in my life.

Okay, so the site is planning on removing my favourite shop :(. Honestly, I might get back into serious HA making if there are some science fiction wearable items put in. We could add so much more than Halo or Star Wars inspired items onto the site...
