Yea you kinda get to know the setting once inside it. That seems the best way ... although I am pretty avoids any high places any more due to me. sigh Push someone off the cliff once and no more cliffs are in the stories.
I don't think you need to worry, its like any background for any character! Just think of the sort of culture and people that would have shaped their lives. There's no reason to be scared or panic, there's no real wrong answer since it is your character.
This actually sounds amazing to me! :) Great guidelines and I know right where my girl fits in. Pretty cool
Sorry that you're feeling confused. Hopefully, it will ease when you get into the story and see the settings for yourself.
Silver Legends is their own world--and hey, fun IS the name of the game. (And this time, there are cliffs, one in particular, and yes, people do get thrown from it.)
I am SO with you!
Hmm I think I'll use this elaboration to add some depth to my haphazard lagoonal faerie ^_^ Guess that makes her a Seelie, but since her self imposed exile and adventures with and without the team I'd say she's gained some borderfolk edge <3
For my reference
Back story in a nutshell before WS2:
Lagoonal faerie warrior
Her people are linked with nature and so have some magic in that way. She is the daughter of the tribal shaman woman and so has some extra training and talent there, but her heart is in battle and there she is a natural. She has earned 'Battler of the Season' in her tribe three times and so holds 2 magically reinforced sashes (The third was given to an NPC in TFW) that have minor healing and strengthening properties.
She was betrothed to the snobby prince who held her hopes for a battle career in disdain and demanded her focus on her shaman studies. So with the help of his mother, the queen, she fled.
So she's not your classic warrior, but she's not a futuristic privateer either.
Since WS2, her wanderings have given her a sharper edge, and (thankfully) a sharper mind. She is still MIA often, but usually shows up just in time.
We're still a ways from starting, but I will set up for you to do this as we get closer.
