It labels the start of the Masquerade as "mid-March" but after a bit of research, the earliest it's ever started has been March 18. Sure, that could still be counted as the middle of March, but the rest of the dates - 20, 22, 25, 26 - all scream "end!" to me.
It's tiny and it's nit-picky and if it turns out the party starts tomorrow this year I will feel REALLY SILLY but maybe it should be changed to "end of March" or "third weekend in March"

It's starting around the 21st or so according to
But yeah it should probably say mid to late March or something instead
I agree. It needs to be changed (or otherwise, start Masquerade today or tomorrow!!)
I feel like it should read Late March instead of Mid-March considering it starts around the 20th. Mid-March is like 15th-16th (to me).
I don't support this.
This is the reason I didn't like the idea of having an official Calendar. Holidays start when they start, when staff is ready and I'm fine with that.
I think this is a good suggestion. I don't really have an opinion on the calendar one way or another (I've been playing Subeta long enough to just go with the flow as far as scheduling), but if it starts in the last 1/3 of the month it should probably be called late March.
New players may reference the calendar -especially because it's right on the news page- and when something starts much later than expected, it may be frustrating. So I support this suggestion!
Second-half of March is better than end of March or mid-March to me
Yeah, it should probably be "late March" or "mid-to-late March". Not a huge deal, but I'd like the calendar to be as accurate and useful as possible, since I'll probably be checking it pretty regularly despite my years on Subeta. Not all of our memories are in perfect working order and the assistance is welcome.
The whole schedule could do with a bit more information, to be fair. Links to subetapedia articles, and links to relevant sections in the achievements for a start. I'd also love to see some previous start dates and times for events with no set start date. It saves users the trouble of trawling through the news archives to check, and it'll do something to stop users getting frustrated that an event hasn't started a week before it usually does.
I support this suggestion. Mid to end of March is more accurate and still gives the staff flexibility for starting the event.
I think this is a good suggestion, too. I was really expecting, given that the calender says "mid-March", that Masq would be starting at any time around the 15th. ;w; I mean it is a really minor thing, I agree, but the calender would be more informative and useful if it was actually accurate, and since we have it now it might as well serve its purpose.
I mean, believe me, I know that there are no firm start dates for any of the events. I know the entire thing is just to give users a general idea of when something should possibly be starting. But I was getting pretty pumped in the car thinking Ohhhh yeah it's mid-March today gonna do some dancing and then getting home and realising it's probably still a week away. Now I have to wear this avatar for a week I MEAN COME ON!!!

I agree - "mid-March" to me would be about the middle of March, so yesterday or today or possibly tomorrow. If it's usually 20th - 26th for the start date, then that would definitely be either "late-March" or "mid-to-late March" if there was the potential for it starting around the 18th. After all, what's the point of the rough idea on dates in the new holiday schedule, if it's not accurate? :)

YOU GUYS ARE ALL THE WORST.

[edit]
I will be adding more information to the schedule, don't worry! I just wanted to get something out as a good foundation for everyone. I'm hoping we get more articles to the other holidays up (like Keel Hauliday) so they can be linked. :)
