No, it's actually a book about why straight women should turn lesbian. (And not in the adult movie way.) There's a lot of humor there, but if it mocks any group it's mocking straight people. One of the authors is pretty prominent in the LGBTQ community, if I remember right the other is a scholar. It was a good while ago I read it.
Haven't gotten mine yet, and I don't think my partner has gotten theirs either. :c

I'm pretty sure I'm on some sort of government watch list now from the small scene I made when I went back to resend my box (it's on it's third attempt now, partner, fingers crossed this is the successful trip! Otherwise I might end up driving the however many hours and bringing it to you myself). Apparently all mailing services around here are complete crap.

Super cute chalkboard tags! :D These are awesome. I mostly keep my loose leaf tea in bags, and I&;ve always wanted to get a tin, but there&;s no good way to mark what&;s in what... until now!</p>
<p>Speaking of tea...
Single serve loose leaf teas! Contains blood orange, chocolate rose, caramel nougat, black cherry, and peach brulee flavors. (Ugh, so indulgent, you&;re killing me!)
Contains peach rhubarb preserve, tangerine rosemary, tupelo honey fig, white cinnamon sage, and wild apple ginger.
Both boxes smell awesome, and amazingly, not a single one is in the same flavor as teas I currently I have. I&;m sipping tupelo honey fig now. ^_^</p>

And these single serve teas fit perfectly in my new manatea! :D He is delightful to watch in my cup of tea, btw. Brewing is no longer a boredom.</p>
<p>And in the vein of food...
A super cookbook of meals that are 300 calories or less! Holy crap, I&;m so happy. :D I try to limit all my meals to that exact count. It comes with a food diary, which will be great when I&;m traveling and still want to track everything. And the beginning chapters are tips and advice. :D I&;m so stupidly happy over this. It&;s so hard to find good recipes -- so many places think anything less than 1,000 calories counts as reasonable, but not when you eat five times a day! -- and I&;m already planning what to make first.</p>

A huge, fat notepad with my initial on it and a pin and a ribbon. :D I like to keep ribbons from things to use on presents later, and yay, plenty of space for planning grocery lists and to-do things. :D I&;m a list person.</p>

A journal with a bunch of keys on it! :D I&;m such a sucker for journals. And this is perfect timing. I&;ve been mentally planning my next novel, and I need to get editing my current one. I like putting details for every separate idea in their own journal, so this is great! (I have more ideas than I have time/space for writing them all down. :D)</p>
<p>And to go with everything above, a super fancy Sabrina Soto pen!
My parents were actually super envious, since it&;s so comfortable to write with. I love funky pens. ^_^ And Camp NaNoWriMo is write (haha!... okay, sorry) around the corner.</p>

SUPER FLUFFY RAINBOW YARN! :D It&;s so soft and fluffy. ^_^ I&;ll definitely have to make a warm scarf with it... after I finish &;s. I haven&;t forgotten! I&;m just slow. :&;D</p>

I miraculously got almost good at knitting this past month. (It's so weird. My first finished project looks half awesome and half "why didn't you just unravel and start over?)
Anyway... I started knitting my next project with the yarn you got me. :D It's coming out pretty cool. Will share pics when done, if you want. n_n And of course, you get first dibs on getting to own the finished result.
I would love to see pics!! so glad that the knitting is coming along so well.
And done! :D Sorry my camera's kinda shitty, but I think you can still get the gist? It came out pretty cool. It's really long, but that'll be nice for winter, when scarves need to wrap around the neck two or three times to keep out the chill.
