I hope everyone had a very Happy Halloween! Did everyone have fun? We had fewer trick or treaters but we got at least two cries of "It's this house! I told you you! It's this house!" Always good to hear. But as things get colder, I think we're close enough. Sign ups for the chatterbox Secret Santa are now open! To enter, just ping me once you have a chatterbox Secret Santa wishlist. As you know this is a list of ten or so items that are 1 million sp or lower. If you think you can afford a little more, let me know and I'll see if we want to go higher this year.

I'm so glad the kids remembered your house. How neat :D I went out with my best friend and her daughter, so walking around while Gemma trick or treated was quite fun. We then ended up back at my friend's house where we sat around her fire pit and had smores/talked for a while. I did not stay home to pass out candy this year but my hubby did and he said we hardly had any kids come by. Unfortunately, we don't live in the safest area and I have noticed here in the South how religious they are so not many will go out. I miss the old days when big groups did come by. I always tend to over purchase in the candy department since I don't want to be caught off guard without any. Next year I may not even buy any :(

My wishlist is up. Thanks for starting it this year :) I have a feeling it will be a fun time again!

It sounds like you had a good time. Left over sweets are always an issue I think. I haven't heard of anyone who didn't have enough sweets for Halloween. I'm sure it will pick up in time. It seems to have been a quiet Halloween this year for some reason. Maybe because it wasn't on a weekend. I hope it is a fun time. We've got three so far.

I have a question about the ping group. The owner hasn't been online in two years- do you need the owner's approval to join this group? If not, if it is okay with everyone I would like to sort of "advertise" the group in my signature. We don't have a whole lot of active members, maybe some other people would like to join us. : )

Not everyone in this group can spare 5 million for 10 items... hopefully 2-3 million would be better!

The key thing to remember about the wish list is I set it low so no matter how little time you can spend on Subeta you can get something for your Secret Santa. It's an attempt to help out those who have other commitments during the holidays. If you want to spend more on your Secret Santa go for it. Feel free to spoil them however you wish. For now, would a maximum of 1.5 million (or 2 million at most) per item be enough? We'll need to review the lists anyway as the holidays always boost the prices of almost every item on site. People here love to gift during the season. ^_^ I will put it to the vote once I know how many others are joining in. I'll set a closing date soon and ask how much people would prefer. We'll go from there.

SamanthaFrost has been active during that time. I've spoken to her before. I think springjoy can make people members as well.
