Congrats on all the forum points everyone! I think I have earned 2 or 3 in the little amount of posts I've been doing. I like this system much better than the raffle tickets.

I spent a nice peaceful day here yesterday on Subeta working on my pet Chenille's TC. She now has over 500 treasures in her TC! I'm excited to stuff the rest of them in there once acquired! They are getting up there in price, so I think I may create a buying board tonight.

Today is a day out for me. I am heading to the craft store. Not sure yet what I will buy, some yarn of course, maybe a few other goodies. I get lost in there. :) I also have to pick up a birthday gift for my oldest daughter's friend.

Anyone have anything fun planned today or this weekend?

I wish I could go to the craft store with you . We use to have a big, really nice craft store in town. It was my favorite place to browse and shop. Always unusual things for every interest. Sadly they closed up and we haven't anything at all to take it's place.

I didn't make it to my craft store yesterday, but we are going out shopping with our youngest daughter so I think we will end up there at some point. I did manage to sit and create a couple of things though from my hoard of supplies.

The oldest has a birthday party/sleepover to go to this afternoon/evening. She's super excited. We need to run and grab a birthday and gift card here shortly.

WoW, three craft stores. We don't even have a plaza - or a Walmart - or a Franks. Use to love going to Franks nursery and craft store when we lived in Michigan. I love living in a small town but there are definitely draw backs when it comes to shopping. We use to do some cross border shopping once in a while but now that the exchange rate is so bad there will be none of that. Our closest city to shop in is an hour drive. Enjoy your shopping today and think of your poor cult sister. :( Happy Birthday to your daughter! I well remember those sleepover parties for my daughter. They had so much fun. We got soooo tired. 😆

I have fond childhood memories of going to Franks :) I miss that store.

Luckily I live about 15 minutes away from a major shopping road and there are several craft stores, although there's only one in a plaza. Beading is my particular wheelhouse. I feel for you and your lack of access, Sassy!

One plaza has a bookstore, a craft store AND a pet shop, where I go and stare longingly at the guinea pigs. It's horrible :)

My son caught a bug on Friday and was so sweet to me, he shared it on to me. Isn't he the best? ;P He got better very fast while I felt like crud yesterday, started feeling better last night and then woke up very early this morning feeling worse. Not how I was looking forward to spending my day that's for sure. :(

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that you got sick! A similar thing happened with my brother and mother back in January. He got better in a few days and she only just stopped coughing a little while ago. I hope you recover much more quickly.

Sick is better then injured. My back has been gradually getting worse the past week. On Friday after my work at the gym, I had to go to a doctor to see about pain meds so that maybe it would get better. I didnt go to work yesterday and I'm not going today either. Bad thing is, I was supposed to work my new gig at the grocery store both today and yesterday. I let them know that the doctor said not to. They were understanding, but heb gave me a slip that the doctor needs to fill out with what I can and can not do... problem with that is the doctor would do a full assessment until I decide to use workers comp or not... I've never been in a situation where workers comp was even an option. So now I dont know what to do. I'm worried that my back is too weak to do the grocery store job in the first place.. and maybe I should not take it now. Even though, I'm already in it... I dont want to do a sit down at a computer and/or phone job anymore. I like interacting with people in person. I feel so stuck. I havent had a "good job" since I left Volusion it feels like. :(

It's a good idea you're just looking at the guinea pigs. I doubt that they and your cats would be best buddies. You sure look cute! I really hope you get feeling well soon . Those bugs seem to be a particularly tough bunch this year.

Just do what is best for your health. As both Terry and Yarn have told us back problems have to be treated with as much care as you possibly can. Make sure it's all healed up before you start lifting things. I'm so sorry this happened when you got the job you would really enjoy.

Went in to work today, 6am to 9am. Thought I'd be okay if I was just mindful of my bending. Nope. I was wrong. My back hurts into my glutes again. Talked to my head supervisor about workers comp. He's going to look into the paperwork for that and I'm relieved of my shifts for the next two weeks. I'm so worried now about where my bills are gonna get paid from. I'm going in to HEB later today to see if they can place me in a different position, if they even will. If they wont, then I have to resign that position too because it's too much lifting, pushing, bending, standing.. you name it.. Collin, my husband, wants me to give up on HEB too and just look really hard for a call center or desk job of any kind. He wants me out of hard work all together. I don't blame him. Back pain is super scarey, especially when it effects my walking around. It hurts to lift my legs most of the time.
