I think this rule might cause you troubles
And well, your pet "story" (even the america and getting married part) does not entirely sound like a real story to me.
Some basics about stories are: ❤️SETTING ❤️ PLOT ❤️ CONFLICT ❤️ CHARACTER ❤️ POINT OF VIEW ❤️ THEME
And I can't truly see where's the conflict or the story's plot...

I might have been relying too much on peoples' prior knowledge of the characters and the show they're from, so I'll see what I can do about that.
It'd definitely be better if you made a longer story :) I am sure it'll be easy as you already know what you want to show! Same thing, just... better explained :P I used to watch yu-gi-oh! but I also watched a couple of episodes some time ago so I kind of remember something. Many people never even saw them. Like Dragon Ball, everyone takes it "obvious" that everyone watched it but I never watched it when I was a kid. Not entirely at least so I don't even know much about that thing either :P I mean, just an example haha

Hiya, doesn't the pet story have to be a certain length? Not including the character traits thing?
That bit won't count, I believe. So your story may not be long enough.

I found Kaiba's ORIGINAL white-background overlay so I replaced the transparent one with that. How does his profile look now? Every time I try to make it transparent, it makes it look pixelated or there are stray white pixels left over.
I like the profile a lot! I'm also tantalized by the amusing personalities displayed in the introduction to your story. I guess I just wish that was more elaborated on with a plot as a general thing. Otherwise it looks good to me :3
They/ThemThanks~ :D I may or may not add more to the story, I'm struggling to keep them in character, while at the other end of the spectrum, trying not to write a whole fanfiction.
I know the in-character struggle, but dude I'd love a whole fanfic based on the introduction. Why are you trying to avoid it?
