Hello. I'm still kinda new to Subeta. I'm having trouble selling items. Can anyone give me any tips on pricing items? Thank you a ton! (:
For most of your everyday restockables (items with rarity up to 99), it's best to just price 1 sp lower than the current lowest on user shop search that way yours is the first on the list if anybody's looking for it. For more rare and expensive items it depends on too many other factors to give a blanket statement like that.
Thank you its good to know! I'll do that next time I'm pricing.
Welcome to subeta! I am going to move your board to Help & Questions, as I think it will be a little better suited there. :)
I have one of the biggest shops on site, and I don't agree with . His strategy will get you the most sP for your item...if it sells.
In the recent past, Subeta's been going through some roaring inflation so people will pay you sP more readily than they used to. Right now though they've included some major sP sinks and they appear to be working as the amound of sP sloshing around has diminished somewhat.
If you need a quicksale, and you're new here so you probably do, plan on making several times what you paid for an item, or +5KsP. If the user shops show this is what people are getting for that item, restock it. If user shops show something you already restocked is less than that discount by about 15% (this is the price difference that'll really get attention, IME) every few days until it does sell.
Having to do this for a quicksale sucks, though. Find a fun game like Matlal's Jewels or do some Wizard Quests to vend with if you can stand vending, this will get yourself some working capital. Once you do you can restrict your restocking to things that get eight times wholesale or plus 10KsP, and you will only need to discount by 5 to 10 percent to get buyer's attention.
