My friend passed away on February 2nd and her son Aden just told us the sad news.

For those of you who didn't know her- Lee had been battling cancer for years and it was at a stage where it was terminal.

I cherished her not only as a wonderful friend but during the times she had the strength to get on she was an inspiration to me because she never complained, always showed nothing but kindness and had a good word for everybody. She was always cheerful, always full of life. I don't recall her ever being cross with anybody or saying something mean.

She will be dearly missed and I'm sending my love, thoughts and prayers to her family and especially her son Aden during this time.

I mean, I didn't know her as well as I used to but I did respect her a lot. I truly did. I watched my granny fight when she had cancer and it killed her and I wouldn't want that for anyone.

Lee didn't deserve this and it just makes me so sad.

Thank you Moran or as my Mom liked to call you "Panda" She would love this ideal... I wish I could create a wearable background for her in memory I have the ideals but not the know how nor the CSC or SP oh well...She would love this! Thanks again! I miss her so much!

I was always amazed by how cheerful she was even though she was going through so much.

If you need help with creating this background I will help you. I know somebody who made a few CWs for me. Maybe she can help too.

Lee had the biggest heart Ive seen on a person, she NEVER judged anyone and was always full of love and laughter. She was always looking out for the next person even when at times she needed to be looked after. I will miss her dearly and our conversations. Fly free Lee and I love you!!!!!

Awwww my dear sweet friend , I know I promised you there would be "no tears" but I can't help but sit here and smile through my tears, when I think of you and all our little antics :D All of the laughs we shared and the trouble we caused. I have met a lot of wonderful friends on Subeta, but none like my "partner in crime" .... I will miss you more than words can say. You always made me smile even on my darkest days love. I will never forget you! I ❤ you Miss Leeonna !!!

Aden : I am so sorry for your loss and will pray for you and your family. Your mother talked about you often, about what a great kid your are and how very proud she is of you. I just want to thank you for sharing your mother with us :D We will truly miss her.

The world is now a slight bit darker now that our sliver of sunshine in Leeonna has passed on. I always admired her for her positive attitude despite all she had been dealt. She took solace in her family and friends and I can only hope that her family here on Subeta made her time a bit sweeter like she did for so many of us. Hearing this news last night really shook me because you always had a hard time figuring out why something so tragic could happen to such a beautiful soul as Lee. I am thankful now that she is not suffering, even if it means she had to leave us. R.I.P. my beautiful friend. Your love and positivity will never fade away.

When I first came here Lee was very helpful getting me started. The only thing she asked of me was to pay it forward. I cannot tell you the number of newcomers I have assisted ut she is the reason I started. It will now be more special and I will explain about Lee when they ask why I'm helping them.
