Anyway I'm here to suggest some masks that are too low on the face and don't seem to line up with any eyes as far as I can tell: There might be some others. In fact I'm sure there's a pink one I can't remember the name of. It's too bad because they look really good otherwise.

We DESPERATELY need to revamp old backgrounds, which have the HA base cutout in them. 😭

(ok I admit I'm being dramatic but anyway)

The Fairy Tale Color Plate is one of my favorite items, but I can't use it often because I like to make HAs with non-standard poses or inhuman body parts. I'm using the fallen stalactite right now and had to patch it up with some funky layering. Now that we can dismember our HA bases, the cutouts are particularly annoying.

Omg yes! I use so many avatar base mods these days that many many amazing backgrounds are no longer usable. is one of my favorites ): We don't have too many urban backgrounds to begin with so it's such a shame this one has the cutout...

and are some non-bg items that suffer from the avatar base limitation, too

I'm so torn on the HA cutout backgrounds cuz I love using them to smooth out my HAs if I have weird layering going on!

but what Anrivef said! I use the cutouts to smooth HAs out since some stockings, gloves, etc have fuzzy jagged lines! Like I'm a bit torn too cuz some backdrops are beautiful as whole scenery, but some I wish had cutouts

If these have been mentioned, sorry, but and alike MUST be revamped, they look like a monster with big mouth and eyes, as if it's gonna eat me, not vice-versa :D

Yeah those REALLY need to be revamped, and maybe the old art could be used on a brand new item.

There are stray pixels on the darker bases and it all just looks ridiculously pixelly in general

I agree. I would love to see old backgrounds with updated full versions but please keep the old versions with the base cutout so we still have ways to smooth out our layers if need be.

The Duckie Pitcher is painful to look at.
