I like this feature. It gives me something to do while i wait for my pets to be finished training :D
I was trying to battle with my strongest minion while I still have the free 24 hours GA, but I can't. It appears "No status" in most of them.

Not sure if my post will stay here when I'm no longer GA user, but I hope a staff member sees it.
Can anyone tell me what will happen to my minions in the zoo when My GA runs out.
Will other people eventually be able to see our collection of minions? o: That would be so cool! I've been playing with this and I really love the idea!
All of my level 4 minions have disappeared from the zoo

Cool, I thought if I sent my minion to the zoo I'd lose it so now I can take all of them out of my vault!

Maybe had a liiiittle more HP on minions, some of them are really short on this and can't barely win a fight. But overall, the feature is easy and quick to use, so good point.
This is a brilliant idea and I'm pumped to see it get further polished and eventually implemented! I only just started on this site a few days ago, and having a catch-all depository for our minions is something I had been wishing was a feature, since there are SO MANY and we only have X amount of pets. And optional battling to boot? Swell! I love fighting things and making numbers go up. Makes me feel ACCOMPLISHED.
Right now, with the guy I'm testing with, it always says he has 2 ability points and I'm spending 0/2, regardless of what new abilities or builds I click and swap around? Dunno if that's just the no cost for the sake of testing setup or not.
Will there be anything like recommended builds or movesets? Might be worth consideration for people who aren't used to pet battling systems or feel overwhelmed with seeing all the variety they can add to their little dudes. Then again, it seems the margin for error is quite broad? Since loss doesn't seem to be that severe. So it might not be necessary. DUNNO.
I'm crazy pumped for this, overall. I'll be messing with it more over time and post with any more thoughts or feedback.

In the last days, i spend a bit of my time by testing the MZB.
I like the easy battle system and that we hadn't feed our minions - or give them toys to play. But after playing a while, there is on thing which is less-than-optimal:
My active Battle-Minion slips down at the end of the start-site after fighting. So i have to scroll all the way down or use Strg+F. Now, while i had two pages of minions, i had to click on page two and then scroll down/using Strg+F. It would be nice when the active Battle-Minion could be sticky at the first page, until i choose another minion i want to fight with.
Another thing: My Octoragon has no Stats. Is it normal? At page 11, the first post from wordless shows, that here Octoragon has Stats. Did i miss something my checking this topic, while it has no Stats now?

My GA ran out today. I forgot that it had run out and I tried to put a minion in the zoo and there just wasn't an option to do so. I tried to go to the page directly, but I just got a white page. As soon as I activated my new GA I could access the zoo and all of my minions were still there :)

Thanks for the info. I'll have to remember to pull all my minions out before the GA runs out, 'cause I never know when I'll be able to get another one.
I'm loving this little beta, I think it has a lot of promise as a different style of play from the main pet battles. Got a bunch of cheap duplicate critters (just in case a glitch eats them) and tossed them in to fight for my entertainment.
Thoughts so far: -Even for testing purposes we really need at least basic info about what happened in each turn. It's impossible to know whether abilities are broken or we just got hit before we could use them. @
-So far I've identified seven base skill sets through trial and error. It would really help if these sets had names that could show up in a minion's description, ex: Beast, Undead, Water. Or if adding text would be too much for so many minions, there could be some other way to view sorted lists of minions we don't have (that skill type info is in the system already so it'd be less work).
-The "white mage" skillset (glow, dream, rest...) seems really bad, possibly because enrapture isn't working. I can see where it's going for this whole stalling heal-tank thing, but whether because of bugs or the current system balance they haven't been doing well for me. (If anyone wants to test this set and doesn't have a minion with it, Blob is extremely cheap.)
-The undead set (hex, slice, spook, consume, stalk, bloodcurdling scream), on the other hand, is probably my most reliable minion. The enemy-action-cancel skills don't seem to be working, but transfusion -> spook -> volatile surge -> hex hex hex is decent. Still some random death, but I assume everything is kinda cannon fodder until high levels. The water set is similar.
I just got a Gold Account and now I come here and see there is a Minion Zoo in beta testing. My gallery where I keep my minions has the exact same name o_O Well, this sounds nice though. I think I'll transfer my minions to THIS Minion Zoo haha
Something I've noted and which has probably been brought up by someone else (but this thread is 27 pages so I'm not hunting):
Account Search on a minion I know I own but which is in my Minion Zoo turns up the result that it can't find any of that item in my account.
This wouldn't bother me if I didn't have such a big collection in there and if some of them weren't worth a small fortune o_O
Also of note - any minions with special ratings (game, collection, etc) are not actually "usable" inside the zoo.
I do like battling the minions, but could there also be an area to feed them/pet them for those who do not wish to battle?
I've noticed that both the Nuclear based minions and winter based minions are weak,and lack decent attacks.Why can't the Nuclear based minions have better attacks such as Nuclear Explosion,Melt Down and Radiation,and why can't the snow and winter based minions have attacks such as Arctic Blast,Freeze,Avalanche and Windchill?The Fire,Water and Electric minions seem to have much better attacks based on their element types alone.

I'm really having fun with the minion zoo battling. I think the layout could use some work, but the biggest complaint I have right now is how it says, "You lost and gained 00 xp."
It's a bit confusing. It's like one of those sentences where the grandma eats the children because the punctuation wasn't used correctly. I think something better for it to say would be, "You lost, but gained 00 xp during the battle."
Or something similar.
I'd have liked it better if it was more like a collection and only, like, a few minion (the ones attached to your pets or something) would be able to battle :)

I agree with , but would like to limit to collection only. The battling is too simple for my liking and it's pointless to make it as complex as regular pet battling.

We already have at least 3 things to collect (cards, plushies, beanbags) so I don't really think collecting minions is necessary but as they already exist and lots of people are already collecting them, why not. On the other hand we also have the battles, battlequests... and whoever wants to battle can use their pets for that, as much as they want
I think making it a mini-game and allowing some minions to battle (like I stated before) is fine but please don't make it too big :)
