That wine sounds delicious. Is it a red? Over the holidays my friends found this amazing wine that's carbonated (not champagne, but I can't rememer the name of it) and it was DELICIOUS. Normally I'm not a wine fan but that disappeared so darn quickly!

I have to admit I wasn't so caught by the last Nalini Singh book. It wasn't BAD exactly, but I didn't have that need to read it. My lending period expired before I could finish it because I dunno, it just kind of waffled around. It's sad when the secondary characters are more exciting than the mains, yanno?

wow! really? , (on the book) i was going to say how much i liked it, but i have to admit, if i remember correctly, i had a hard time 'keeping it going' i found i was starting to get bored with her 'angst' heh. but i got over that 'hump' and it turned out pretty good. mmmm in fact... i may go and re-read it again, now that i have a nice device to read from again. i'm in the middle of reading "Carousel Tides" by Sharon Lee. she's half of a partnership, they do the Liaden books. (Agent of Change) It's the first time I've read one of her stand alone books. it looks like a good series, and i'm actually getting into the story. might be a little slow, but it has enough 'uumph' to keep me going, and the more i'm learning about the characters, the more the story seems to be picking up.

(heh. and I pinged Zyrabella, because her and I are always talking about books) besides, she may want to come to the ball (if you do, darlin', I'll leave you a link!) HA! and No, LIRIKAI, it was a white wine (i usually drink red) and i only looked/got it, because i found this recipe for a 'summer drink' and they used it in the punch. grin. by the time i got the wine, the cucumber, mint, etc had gone bad. lol so i just drank the wine by itself. :D

and OMG I LOVE CROCK POTS!! i swear, that's ALMOST the only way i cook. lol (almost)

Hahaha maybe it was because I didn't read far enough! I kept thinking "man, when is something actually going to happen" which I NEVER usually think about a Nalini book. I'll have to give it another try, but maybe once my eye gets better - I read too much with too small font, I guess, and strained my eye muscle! So less reading for me and I'm getting anxious because books are coming due soon! D:

Ohhhh I keep wanting to read the Liaden books but my library has, like, one and it's the fifth in the series or something. So irritating. I'm glad you like it!
