It sure is a challenge to catch them. o-o I would use towels.. but they would without fail sit somewhere high, only to fly away by the time I got to them. xD

Yeah, the previous budgie only was caught when he flew straight towards the coat Mum was holding laughs Sid had a fly around the vet's examination room when he went for treatment about a year after we got him - thankfully the vet was better than the last one's we'd seen (they'd trimmed the budgie's claws, and managed to cut it so short it started bleeding :K), but this vet caught him in a towel mid-flight!

Poor Sid, that is not good at all. :( I am always worried I am gonna do that when I do my cats claws, so I only do the tip of their nails.

Some impressive budgie catching skills there. xD

thankfully Sid's not needed his claws trimming (yet) - they were getting pretty long, so we bought a sandsheet cover for the perch which should wear his nails down ;)
