I've also had the same trouble with black fake fur - I managed to unpick it in the end, but the next furry thing I sew will be done with a contrasting thread! ;)

haha fur is worse cos the texture hides it too

nods it's like a matting on the back, but the stitches buried themselves into it, so it was really challenging to find them.... and of course I used the shortest stitches possible, so it wouldn't come undone accidentally :K :P

Mum actually commented on how well I've been finishing off the ends of the stitches so they don't come undone.... which was a bit of a disadvantage when I needed to unpick 'em, but at least they shouldn't unravel by accident :P

definitely! If the pumpkin plant (89p :P) had grown, I realised afterwards that it was meant to grow giant pumpkins.... (link with photo o.O) maybe it's a good job it didn't grow? :P

see that's about the right size lol. mine is about the size of a basketball and chunky ball of wool together.

laughs would that be something you could try growing in the garden next year, maybe? The seeds were about 2 pounds, so if they're not too pricey, that might work out better?
