lol I actually do have glow in the dark acrylic paint though I think I'll pass. no idea if it'd make the yarn itchy but I do wanna start making it today either way lmao

Just got home from my near two weeks in Oslo and Sardinia. Tired after a 10 hour long bus trip, but tanned and happy! :D Sardinia was gorgeous.. the hotel not so much. lol Long story there... but we still enjoyed ourselves so much! Ordering a meter long pizza to share, wandering around the old town, eating italian yummy food, bathing and whatnot. :) We even went to a michelin star restaurant- the food was amazing but the service was the worst I ever had a restaurant. o_O I have seriously had better service at mc donalds. :P

The sunset and beaches were beautiful. Tivoli along the promenade at night. The daughter of one of the girls I travelled with- started calling me auntie Lene right from the start. So sweet. :) All in a all, a huge success!

whoa, that's a long bus trip! Sounds like a super place to go! That's a shock with the terrible restaurant service though - I guess they felt they were too important to give proper service o.O

We litterly sat there for over an hour before we even got to order our meal. They did not ask if everything was okay or check in with us. Wine was ordered that never came. they did not even look us in the eye or smile when they served us... I could go on. :P

To their defence it looked like everyone else got the same crappy service. lol

😮 I guess that's what happens with some places when they get to michelin star level - they forget about the customer service :K At least everyone was treated the same though, so they weren't just picking on you! ;)

I've not been too bad - I got K's jacket knitted (at long last), which hopefully will get to him tomorrow, and started sewing a reindeer for him for Christmas laughs I've put the pics of his jacket up on Ravelry (link) - once the package arrives, I'll add it to my blog, but I don't want his Mum to see the jacket before she gets the package hehe ;)
