okay so had the expo today. Went and looked at vendors, bought some stamps for $2.50 each which is amazing deals. Then I went to a trunk show where I got several accessories worth $50 for free. Did a little shopping at their both and took my last class of the day, which was a "Travel the world" class with this amazing layout. I'll try to post picks when I finish it.
Queen and company trunk show basically they gave us at least 1 of every one of their products.
and the class I took Travel the world
They thought about getting rid of the 1p and 2p coins over here, but there was so much complaining, that they figured it was better to keep them laughs
whoa, that's definitely a great price on those stamps! :D And all those accessories for free too! :D :D The class sounds like it was really interesting to do as well :D :D :D
....I really need to get on and start working on my scrapbook a bit! laughs

the class was fun and the teacher was well organized and went at a good pace.
yes you do lol I need to know if you likes it lol
That's always helpful when the teacher is organised - there'd be nothing worse than the teacher being so scatty, they spend half the class rummaging for things they should've had to hand! ;)
laughs I've been practising my calligraphy, so I can make a decent job of any writing on there hehe ;)

which classes have you got lined up for today? :D
hehe my worst thing is actually getting started - it's like making that first cut into a piece of fabric, where you're anxious that you might mess it up completely 😊

got a mixed media class that covers water colour as well as other media and this morning, I'm making a keepsake box out of acrylic (plastic). looking forward to the box one myself.
the mixed media one sounds like it could be fun :D And the keepsake box should be awesome! :D You're definitely going to have plenty of ideas keeping you busy after those! :D

-nods- never done acrylic in scrapbooking so that'll be interesting. The booth for that company was filled with spiffy things, but I'm waiting to buy till today. I spend $20 of my $60 shopping money. lol one must pace one's self.
:D that makes sense - you never know what they might do as a goodie bag from the class, so you don't want to spend out on something they then give for free / really reduced! ;)

the expo certainly sounds like they're good at giving away stuff - the nearest sewing or knitting shows to here at about 100 miles away, or even further away if it's London :K

although I did find a quilting show that's about 20 miles away, but that's still too far for me at the moment. It doesn't sound as interesting as the other ones either laughs

yeah if its not as a interesting ooh love the beachy look today and midriff :D -steals Summer Jean Shorts- and runs off
their website isn't all that fantastic, so there's not an incredible amount of detail on there, considering that the event is in the Autumn!
:D I had to make a summery outfit - I just searched "summer" and picked out something that would work with the background laughs

nods most stuff just says "tbc" or "coming soon" o.O
:D Not as well as your outfit works - that wig looks like it's glowing with the moonlight behind! :D

Ohh, those are so pretty things! I am glad you had such a good time, very much looking forward to seeing the layout. :D
I had the darnest time figuring out the coins when I was in London. lol There were just too many different ones. :P I ended up just letting the storeclerk pick the money they needed. :P

laughs especially when some of the older style coins are a different size to the newer ones :P
