Hey all! Glad to see you guys didn't burn down the place while I was away! It's good to be home again! We had a nice time, but 4 days of driving (2 days there and 2 back) really takes a lot out of you! The best part was Niagara Falls. We went on the Maid of the Mist, what a blast!! It takes you right into the turbulent waters of the horseshoe falls. We also went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. That was fun, but I think it's one of those 'once you see it, you don't need to go again' deals. Ohio is flat.... and boring! At least where hubby's mom lives. We did go to an Amish store and bought some goodies. On the way home we stopped in the Catskill mountains and checked out a really cool waterfall. After driving through some storms, we were happy to be home. Hope all is well with you guys. Missed being on here! Mom has no internet, so the only time I was able to check in was when we were in a hotel room.

Was out all day yesterday and have more running today - 7 days in and Mauser split her incision so we have to run to the vet, no clue how long that's going to take :( and then after I bring her all the way back home I have to run back out and finish up some grocery shopping I didn't get to yesterday...

If anyone manages to snag an extra of either background I would love to get it!! Thanks!!

We've been so quiet in here recently! Lol everybody still off on summer breaks or simply busy?

it's been too quiet Dora! I'm thinking everyone packed up and left town!

I usually miss a lot of online time over the weekend, but am here during the week.

I'm around on and off, just crazy busy at the moment...too much crap going on! Took Ariana to get her glasses - figured I'd take her somewhere other than where I took Nicholas for his since he's were expensive even with our insurance costing me almost $90...yeah, hers ended up costing me $120...grrr. It would have been almost cheaper for me to outright pay for them at Costco where we had her vision test done. Crazy insurance will pay for the vision test there but not the actual glasses so I had to take her elsewhere. It would have been $135 to get the glasses she wanted there without insurance but I figured it would be cheaper to use the insurance (face/palm). It was cheaper but not so much that it was worth the extra driving and hassle...live and learn, lol.

Mauser is doing better. They cleaned out her incision and stitched her back up, sent her home with a cone of shame - even though her splitting her incision had nothing to do with her licking at the wound but rather her jumping up on things and escaping from her crate...trying to keep that dog calm is a challenge all in itself! Ruger on the other hand healed nicely and is back to business as usual - and much happier too now that she can go outside without being on a leash! Poor Mauser will be on restrictions until the 2nd as long as she doesn't split her incision again (fingers crossed!).

I have an eye appointment tomorrow, today I'm working on cleaning the bathrooms, the laundry room, and my bedroom. Need to get the whole house mopped but just not feeling it today...maybe Wednesday, lol.
