We got back home Saturday after traveling all night. I'm mostly caught up on my sleep now but we're spending a lot of time at the nursing home. M-i-l is still hanging on but is on regular pain meds and she's sleeping all of the time.

My mother-in-law passed away peacefully in her sleep last night. Her pain is finally over and she is definitely in a better place!

- hope you still enjoyed the city. the cruise ship would have docked at ogden point... what we call the breakwater. it's my very favourite walk in the city... out to the lighthouse and back! and i love our inner harbour and walk along government street.

i'm headed downtown right now... to join thousands of others in the inner harbour for a fun day of celebrations with food, music and later on - firworks... Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canucks!!

What a crazy day today. The power went out for an hour and a half at work. Then we were pretty much behind from then on out. We tried to play catch up, and I hope we got everything done, but overall it was a pretty stressful day. I think next year I'm going to go through the calendar and take off ALL full moon days :P Only 2 more days til the holiday weekend!
