the past few days have been a bit brutal for me.
at work - us EA's (educational assistant) have no lock place to keep our purses etc. so we keep them in some drawers in the staff room... which should be safe enough... however, on wednesday - i had money stolen out of my wallet - the weird thing is... i NEVER carry cash... i just had some birthday money i put in my wallet that very morning. the person didn't take it all... just a $50 bill. but that is noticeable when it's gone! if they had taken a couple $20's - i might not have noticed and just thought i had spent them and forgot... i noticed it missing after work when i went to the post office to mail a parcel to my son (living in moscow - so i needed the cash to mail the package - it cost $127!!) all staff have been notified... police report has been filed... new locking drawers have been installed for us to use. the police agree with my belief that who ever did this has been habitually going through our personal things ... maybe daily... that's f'ing creepy!! we've had other things missing from the staff room over the past couple years... sugar... coffee... donuts... but this went a bit too far. others have now come forward to the principal saying they have had things go missing... pain meds... a gift card... etc... but they put it down to bad memory and they must have put it somewhere. it's not a nice feeling to think someone you work with did this to you... i have my suspicions on who it might be... but no hard evidence.

anyway... sorry to put a damper on things... but to the gift bomber... thank you again... you made my day :)

That sucks Shauna :( We had the same thing happen at my lab when I was first starting there. They guy was caught...he was stealing money and using it to buy drugs. He was in the news for him and his gf being caught with a bunch of cocaine. Sad. I hope they catch who's doing it. Can they set up cameras and catch the person on tape?

That's frustrating Shauna. Hate to see that someone will rummage and take stuff from others and erode trust. Wonder if it's someone in plain sight or the cleaning staff? A while ago my mom was really incensed because she dropped a bill in the recycled paper box and the janitor tried to stuff in further inside a magazine to get back to it later. She then asked where it went and the person didn't give any hint. Our perceived reputation towards him dropped off the cliff.

I just saw this and wanted to clarify that you CAN do IH over again. There's a tome in the MC that knocks you down to level 50. Just quit from there :)
