So, I've been transcribing for spare money and right now I'm editing this 4hr file that if/when I finish will pay me $140 which is more than I've made there in any given week so far. But O.M.G. it's 4hrs of pilots randomly throughout their training day and it's constant engine noise in the background and whoever has the recording device keeps pulling it in and out of something with a zipper and maybe carrying it in his pocket because the swishy clothes noise is insane. Dear Lord. D:

Transcribing sounds interesting Kelli! I've always thought about doing that but never really looked much into it. Extra money is always nice to have.

For you battlers: Do you recommend using your stat boosters right away or saving them up for later? Right now I dump all my tomes and stat boosters in my vault but I wonder if I should use them?

I believe in saving them until your pet gets above 1500-2000 in each stat (apart from level), or when your classes start taking really long.

Or, if it's during an event, like now, and I thought using my boosters would help me beat an opponent that I can't beat without using them, I'd use them.

I spend my exp on my lower pets during events usually.

Congrats on the snag! I have that beanbag in my WL right now. I've thought about doing transcribing before, but haven't had to the chance too. How do you get into it?

Congrats on the loot grabbing! Transcribing sounds interesting. Heh, I still save some of my stat boosters. I'll use them during plots just to give Kwixis a boost, but I really save them for gifts during Luminaire for those hard to buy for people cough Jeff cough lol

So what do you guys have planned for today? Hubby and I are headed to the garlic and arts festival. We love going every year! Good food, great music and lots of pretties to swoon at lol.

Eric and I are doing one of those Escape Rooms with some friends later on. Should be fun, but we'll see! Garlic and Arts festival sounds interesting.

Malerias Cursed Arm Bangle is a pretty good T10 weapon and it's selling for 10 mil right now Plague Claw is good for 1.4 mil Captured Eternal Flame is my favorite bomb, for t10 - t13. It only hits for 33 icons but it has a chance to freeze and it has several curses that are based on speed. That is in my default set for any pet T10 or higher. All the rest of my T10 weapons are 100 mil or UB.(Dark Goddess Rod, Possessed Bow, Tempestuous Bladed Gauntlet, Unstable Sample Syringe, and Thunderball)

I would probably be using those stats booster now, since your pet is closing in on T11! I used to have a lot of patience with my booster usage, but with the discounted EXP costs for smaller pets, I don't mind using boosters at around 1k stats especially if you are BQing every day!

Thanks for the info on battling guys. I've been starting to read the info on the forums. I want to do better against something of the tougher challengers! Especially during events, since that seems where the good prizes come from!

Edit: Yeah, I have a lot of stat boosters. I always thought it was best to save them until you couldn't train in the training center anymore. I suppose I have a long way to go before that happens though! I'll have plenty of time to save up again haha

It's definitely interesting and super convenient. But it can be frustrating and not really worth the pay. I was all excited because it says $25/audio hour, and I was thinking at my 85wpm I'd be rich lol but the way people talk in conversation, it's rare that you can just type what they say as they say it. I have to rewind and relisten a lot, plus trying to turn daily gibberish into coherent sentences. :P So I make more like $4/hr XD But monetizing spare time is a great option for me since I'm SAHMing. ^_^ What other job will let me work for a couple hours and then go pick up my kid and help him with his homework, work another hour and tuck him into bed, work 5 more minutes and then go to him because he needs some water... etc. <3

I found it because I was googling legit work from home type options and found some blog lists talking about it. The site I signed up on (because you don't have to have any transcription experience to start) is transcribeme.com The entry test is frustrating because they don't tell you your mistakes, you just have to figure it out. But once you are all started up, it becomes much better simply because of the community. They require you to sign up on yammer which is sort of like a work facebook, and whenever you have questions, there are people around to answer and help out. So you're never in that WHAT DO I DO! jam again. Everyone is laid back and so far the admins are really responsive and have upped pay on poor audio quality and recently even gave us the option to opt out of the lowest quality audio. If you do really well the admins put you on special teams that get better audio, more work, and higher pay. You can also take extra tests for types of accented or medical audio to have more work available. This weekend we're having a sweeps where every 1/2hr of audio you do is an entry and the winner of the drawing gets an extra $50 on their check. :D But I'm stuck doing this 4hr file and likely won't get 1/2hr of other work done this weekend. I'm trying to make myself focus and finish it today but I just keep getting distracted coughFreyalisecough I WILL finish today dammit! And then I can get an entry in tomorrow. :P We'll see!

Glad to know I'm saving my boosters wisely. I have almost never used any, though I have sold a few. I vault em all and just used enough last week to get Sera up to T9 and then stopped. I plan to keep em until She's too strong to train, but if I can't manage the manifesting weapon during Morostide, I'll probably use the rest up trying to chase it. LOL

Anyone have a GA I can buy off ya? Mine expired today :P Part of me wants to spend the 150csc for a new week one, part of me wants to save my CSC and get enough for a bigger one later. But with Keel this week, I want my vending/inventory/quest limits higher :P

Oooh festivals, escape room! Sounds fun! I'll be here typing and possibly pulling out my hair.... LOL

I think the hubby finally found the issue with the water system...what a major pain in the ass! He pretty much dug up and replaced every piece of pipe between the house, the system, and the well. Then when that didn't fix it, he started pulling up the pipe that goes down the well..found two cracks there, cut and replaced those...that still didn't do it...so today he spent five hours pulling every part off the system itself that could come off, cleaned everything, and then put it all back together again...and bam, fixed! I really can't wait for city water to be available to us, there's talk that it could happen within the next year fingers crossed On the upside our electric didn't really jump too much with the well pump running every 5 minutes for a month...so at least there's that!

I've been attempting to restock from Freyalise, some restocks are much better than others. I hate when it's been over 20 minutes and only half a dozen items restock...older items not worth much at that :P Not much in the way of dupes at the moment, they added so many new items this year it's going to be a struggle getting them :( Wish this shop would restock every 3 - 4 minutes since it's only around for 10 days...

Demigod is the 14th ranked pet on the site and I'm still over 1000 level points away from not being able to train. You don't want to wait that long!

I'd be fine with something like that. I type pretty well, 70wpm, and I'm not worried about the pay. Right now my husband is supporting us both since my unemployment money ran out before the year was up (end of Jan '17) So now I have to wait until then to see if I can start it back up again.

The escape room should be fun, its a hour to get out or else we all die. At least there aren't zombies in this one. Every 10 mins the chain moves and if it touches you, you die. I'd probably end up hitting someone. HAHA.

We had lots of fun today! Spent way too much money... but it was extra that I had stashed away for today, so it was no biggie. We got fresh maple syrup, raw honey, home made soap and maple cotton candy... oh yeah, and garlic :D

That Escape Room was fun and challenging at the same time. So many puzzles to figure out and clues and combination locks! I'd be happy to never see another combination lock again haha. We escaped with 3 mins left before our "oxygen" ran out.

And the transcribing sounds neat Kelli. I used to transcribe my phone calls at work (interviewing people for articles) and it was so annoying. We do have a thing at work called a dictophone that lets you ff/rw using a foot pedal, and also lets you slow down or speed up conversations as you're listening to them. It made things so much easier, especially with the foot pedal.
