hi all - life is a bit nuts lately... but i'm on spring break now and hope to be around a bit more!! happy spring :D

I hope you enjoy your spring break, Shauna! I know what you mean about life being hectic. I'm thankful I got a new phone in January that has 4G LTE on it or I wouldn't have done much playing on here this year. I have another week of school and then spring break. We're getting out of town for a few days that week. I'm ready for some time away from here

I also thought of you today with it being pi day, and 3-14-15 at that.

I just bought a new workout dvd and it's kicking my butt. But, I'm having fun with it. I just can't wait for the weather to improve.

It was a great weekend! Paul made a delicious meal for me Thurs (nothing new, really, he's a great cook LOL). He also surprised me with a mini greenhouse for my seedlings! One of my co-workers took me out for appetizers and a drink on Friday. Yesterday I got to spend time with family and friends and today I pretty much had all to myself, so I relaxed, played around here and FB and transplanted some seedlings and moved them into my little greenhouse! Am sad the weekend is over. Time for me to head off to bed. Thanks again for all the gifts sent my way! Love to all! ❤

Hi everyone. I see I missed a few birthdays. I'll send out some belated gifts soon.

I've been very busy lately and, unfortunately, I also have bad news. Seems like a lot of us have had bad things happening so far. My aunt has been suffering from brain cancer for a few years now. It's been in check and chemo has been working. A few months ago, she collapsed with extremely low blood pressure. She was in ICU for a few weeks and then moved to a regular room. A few weeks later she went home. She seemed to be recovering really well, but about a week ago, she started having seizures and was rushed back to the hospital. She hasn't been on chemo because it's causing seizures and was part of why her blood pressure was so low, so the cancer is spreading rapidly. She's in hospice care now. I went to see her yesterday and it was really difficult. She hasn't opened her eyes in two days. We aren't expecting her to be with us much longer :(

And I'm so sorry Amanda. I also have an aunt who's dealing with an advanced stage of cancer. She had to get most of her jaw and some of her tongue removed to try to stop its spreading, and they're still not sure how much longer she'll live. It just sucks all around. My thoughts are with your family.
