Well I spent a million to get infected with boobitis last night. Still not infected though. Thought it was only supposed to take like 2 hours. It's been longer than that. kind of mad I'm not showing any signs yet and did't get a notification. Probably shouldn't have infected myself with an expensive one. I'm sure the event is ending soon. Oh well. I wanted a more zombie look.

I don't think I've ever been up this early, online. I'm so tired but I'm not feeling good. I tried going back to bed but got up again, sick. Ugh. I think it's just exhaustion and stress. I actually was sleepwalking last night. At least I think I was. I woke up with a clean, empty bowl on my table next to the bed. What the heck?

I did that with lovebug, seems to be taking forever to progress. Maybe it's just me but the newer virus strains seemed to go much quicker...

Woke up to cold & rainy weather...not my favorite! I don't mind the rain at all, it's the chill...we need the rain though, my lawn is starting to look kind of rough since I refuse to have the irrigation fixed - I'm not big on watering the grass, if it's meant to be there then it'll rain is my opinion :)

The 2010 strains are the ones that go fast, with only 6 stages as opposed to 8 for the rest. And, even if you pay, it still helps to get bitten by people who have that strain. It starts the infection quicker, I believe.

I'll check to see if I can still put on my boobitis strain and bite you Amanda. It may not let me since I've started dolly dreadful. But, since you paid, only people with the specific strain you want can bite you. I did that with both love bug and dolly dreadful.

edit: oh and I still have 4-5 more flower trades if you want them.

edit: Never mind Amanda. It says you're infected so the strain should be progressing now.

yeah, I wanna say that getting boobitis was quick. I just went to the forums and had people bite me and I was fully developed in 3-4 days. I have butterfly bruise and am nearing the end stage, so I might be going for a 3rd infection soon. Not sure which one I want though lol.

I'm so frustrated with this bulbous vial thing, not sure how many days I'm goin on but it's still not even on the way out yet so.... I know I'm not getting a second infection this round :( Oh well, no different than past years I guess, only get to keep one strain lol I hope they bring this format back next year, too fun!

Hope everyone has had a good week. It's been busy for me...it's research paper time again. Teaching two groups who have never done one before and reminding one group who has, but are lazy and also already starting to get spring fever, has been challenging. Not to mention I now have my weekend of 'fun' grading rough drafts. So yeah...busy. And what am I doing? Playing!! grin I had to have a few minutes of fun before I disappear again.

I had the crappiest week. And the crappiest day. I cried in front of the big boss today :( Work is stressing me out so much. I'm so frustrated and stressed out.

There's so much pressure on me to get stuff handed in by the due dates. Which makes sense, but this is my first week! I hardly had any training before because i still had to do my other work since we didn't have anyone trained in my position. Things are late. I'm doing to best I can, but this is new to me. And when the instrument blew out because of that super high sample, I lost a day and a half. And the thing is still recovering. It ran well yesterday, and started to run well today, but then some of my QC failed, and I had to recalibrate, and then I ran out of sample to recalibrate. And my boss got mad at me (not the one that saw me cry) because we need to get data reported and apparently I could have reported some of it. I've had hardly any training! I haven't had time to read the SOPs (standard operating procedures) because I've been so busy. I feel like I'm letting people down. I'm just hoping next week is better. It has to be.

Yup! I got it yesterday! Blew through 2k tokens to get it, but I'm very happy! Also have gotten several retired items, but only one that I've needed so far. I have 3 zombie books on my WL and 2 puppy plushies. Gonna try again today to see if I can get at least one knocked off the WL. :)

I just got the snow dusted apple as well. The only zombie book I've found so far is the blue one - though I've just checked out the price and that's not a bad get at all :)
