Just turned in a bunch of mage amulets (I've been hoarding...). 50 shards and 16 tomes. I'm pretty happy with the haul :)

that is an awesome rate of return! Almost double the normal rate. Typically you get a tome every 5.5 Mage amulets, so average would be 9 tomes from 50 amulets. Congrats! :)

I've been using tomes as level boosters lately and I'm running low. I need to turn in some amulets this weekend. I hope I get a return close to yours!

Thanks! I was really pleasantly surprised, first with how many amulets I'd hoarded the past few weeks from questing and second with the number of tomes I got. I'm slowly getting closer to T11, so the tomes helped a fair bit. Between that and spending my battle pet's exp, I got about 40-50 points per stat today (not as many level, fortunately). Slowly but surely getting there :) I bought a Swashbuckle a few days ago since they were in the shop search for under 40mil. I'm looking forward to getting to use it!

I was lucky today and got 2 tomes for my 4 amulets. I turn them in as I get them. My overall rate this year so far has been 31 amulets for 8 tomes (around 1 tome for every 4 amulets), which seems decent to me. I haven't been questing every day, and Quentin has been stingy. I'm averaging less than 2 amulets for every 15 quests from them.

When I kept track last year, my last group was 173 amulets for 25 tomes, which is much, much worse (around 1 tome for every 7 amulets). Hope the good numbers continue.

Quentin has been extremely stingy lately, 3 days no amulets :( Hopefully tomorrow will be better. The last time she was this stingy for days on end I ended up with 4 or 5 a day for a week, so fingers crossed the pattern repeats :)

It's so cold here compared to what we're accustomed to for this time of year. Dropped to 39 last night - that's crazy cold for south Florida. Reminds me of living in Michigan, we moved here to get away from that kind of cold and colder!

Faire starts up this weekend, runs for 7 weeks this season - I'm beyond excited! They're saying next year may run for 8 weeks :) We're going opening day, I even ordered new corsets for this year as well as a few other new pieces, can't wait to see what they look like! The last of the things I ordered will arrive tomorrow - nothing like cutting it close, lol.

Kids have Military Ball tomorrow so it's been a lot of running around getting everything they need done - Ariana got her nails done yesterday and they turned out stunning :) Will post some pics tomorrow of the kids all dressed up before they leave <3

Sounds like it'll be a fun day for the kids! High 30s sounds lovely right now. I think with the wind chill, Saturday night is going to feel like -30... Quentin was nice to me today, got 5 more amulets which was awesome. Yesterday was not quite so good (1 or 2 I think?).

This is the first big batch I've ever really turned in, so I'm glad I got so many tomes. Good to see that your results have been equally impressive! Maybe Jeff will have some of the same luck we've had.

The windchill here on Saturday night is also supposed to be really cold - around -25F. I am not looking forward to that. :| We've been mostly lucky this winter though, with a few cold snaps here and there, but mostly mild temps overall. It's supposed to be back to 50F by Tuesday.

Once we hit Monday, it'll be quite a lot warmer. Just got to make it to then. My boyfriend made Valentine's Day reservations for the 13th at our favorite restaurant. I'm trying to figure out how many layers I can wear underneath a dress. xD

Our temperature has been all over the place! We hit 70 F last week and have been under 20 F this week.

I'm trying to save up 1375 mage amulets to turn in at once to see if I can get 250 tomes. I'm over 1k so far.

Ah, eek. I did that last year - wore a skirt even though it was cold when we went out to dinner. We always celebrate on that Monday - Tom is a waiter and will be working all weekend (and I have pool league Sunday night). He always has off on Mondays, so we celebrate most occasions then. Also, it's kind of our anniversary. This year will be 5 years since we met. :)

Hmm, it was 17 on that Monday last year; now 32 doesn't sound so bad. :P Hope you have a nice time and stay warm. :)

Congrats on 5 years! My bf still kicks himself mentally since our anniversary is the week before Valentine's Day. He wishes they were more spaced out :P Last year we had a snowstorm on Valentine's Day, but we still went out because we were stuck inside so much that winter. Monday night actually sounds really nice since there's less of a rush from people. I hate going to crowded restaurants and then having to nearly shout to talk.

Glad you like my HA Jenn! I was trying to use zombie skins, but the only I have that I could think of something to work with was this one. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting some more this year, whenever the event actually starts.

Have decided to go through my junk shop and clean out some of the multiple items I have and frag them since I reached the 45k mark on the multiple item hoarder achievement. I made a serious error a few weeks ago in the frag shop. I was half asleep and wanted to know which items I needed from the shop by hovering over and clicking on the account search button... but, of course, when I went to hover over the most expensive item (the stupid tesla blaster) I clicked on the blaster and not the account search.... there went 2500 crystals in an instant. I nearly died LOL. Anyway, now I'm working on rebuilding my crystal stash.... sigh

Ouch Jenn. That one hurts. I always worry that I'm going to frag something valuable.
