To get close to the ach I made my own thread and posted on the infect me directory main, and the one for my strain, and I make conversation on them while I'm searching to keep them up at the front page. That way if anyone needs that strain they come to me. When I find one I right click open it in a new tab and keep refreshing while I search until they are infected. Hopefully Boobitis will be popular at the end of my progression so I can snag two more and be done! I hope they do it this way again next year! lol
Manda, it is definitely interesting! lol I'm sorta bummed that the new ones are really more mutated than zombified. I feel like they should have gone a step further and had: the jellyfish float away leaving a corpse full of rotting holes, maybe have the jellyfish floating around like the butterfly one. More of the worms fall away (esp. the mouth - that looks like a beard! lol) so you can see more of the corpse the other ones I dunno, it's like our bodies were replaced/taken over rather than died :P

Dad's surgery is done and he's home. I thought it went well but then mom casually mentioned a partially collapsed lung so.. I have no idea what is going on. Just that he is home, she is at her wits end exhaustion and feeling very mean so having trouble being kind to him, he's in a lot of pain and doped up, and once again came home vowing not to smoke since he was coughing up blood but is now trying to sneak smokes out of the ashtray. Mom hasn't smoked either since we're out so that may be part of the meanness.... though she was nicer this morning and she did go to the store... sigh I hope she didn't let him. v_v

Tough day for our family. My dog was struggling to breathe this morning so my parents took him into the vet. The vet took an X-ray and it turns out that he had very advanced lung cancer. So my parents made the decision to put him down. Definitely not a good start to our Saturday.
My sister and I took it are really struggling with it since we're at university out of state. My dad took it especially hard since he's the one who spent the most time with Hunter. We had him for 13 years, so it's going to be a difficult adjustment.
I'm so sorry . It's always so hard to lose a pet, but one that you've had for so long, and so suddenly must be really hard to accept.
So many people having a rough year around here =/
Awww I am so sorry! Sending lots of hugs your way, sweetie. It's hard enough to lose a treasured pet when you're there but more so when you're away. I lost one of my 'babies' while in college as well so you have my sympathy. hugs
euthanasia is one of the hardest aspects of my job, but the worst ones are the unexpected. My heart breaks when an owner brings in their pet thinking all they need is a shot to make them better, but the reality is there is something bigger going on. My heart goes out to you and your family. hugs

So sorry to hear about that. It is a hard call with those. It was always a hard thing to see when I worked with the vet.
I had gotten some forum points these past weeks.
I had been working the past two days to working on my sketchbook to practice for a bigger project for my drawing class which is supposed to just show objects in black and white. My problem is I keep getting black dustings getting into the white part before I get the fixative on it. Using compressed charcoal so its very messy. Doing the studio assignment on Tuesday is going to be a lot of fun. I used painters tape and cut up pieces of paper to try to protect the white part.
About a month ago i had to put my lil darling down, she was just a little over 14 years. You get so used to having them around and then you have to adjust to them just not being there. Missing them hurts so much, my thoughts are with you and your family *hugz

sounds like a cool class Karen. I can't draw very well, but I like to create things with my hands. That's why I enjoy needle felting and other 3D kinds of sculpting.
That does sound cool Karen, I wish that I made time and set aside money for supplies for artistic/crafty things, I love them <3 and oh how I miss school! Good luck with your project!! ^_^

Pfft, I post enough IMO lol. It's no biggie... unless they decide to retire stuff... then I'll be a bit more upset about it! Snow is coming down at a good clip. I wish hubby was already home. I hate when he has to drive home in this kind of weather.
