Spent most of our weekend working outside, can't wait until we're finished with everything, but every time I think we're done or close to done there's yet another project with our names on it for the next weekend...it is looking fantastic though <3

Waiting on deliveries today, part of my Kohl's order just showed up and I have 3 packages coming from Dell later today via fedex on one and ups on the other two...still 2 more coming from Dell later in the week, and I have no idea when the rest of the Kohl's order will come in...

Think I'm going to do a bit of house work before the kids get home and wait to see if I have to go pick up hubby's car from the dealership later today or what the situation is there. Damn thing broke down, was repaired at another dealership and then on the way home it was acting 10 ways of screwy so we took it to the dealership where we bought it. It's brand new so we shouldn't be having these issue with it, was hoping it was related to the recalls but it seems that it's not...ugh, always one thing or another around here.

I love the PS Elf. This clue is kind of vague? Since Theresa gave one word, just in case we need more, my word will be tree.

Yay, our elf is back!! Not sure if is the only one that is supposed to give a word or not. The way the clue reads it's not totally clear. I would guess that each person who gets a clue adds a word instead of all of us each time giving words, but that's just my thoughts. Who knows if the elf thinks like me lol. So just in case...I will give the word decorations since I need to be putting up some more of mine and keep getting sidetracked with subeta :D

If you're someone who needs a reminder to visit Melody, the Melody's cottage sidebar widget is really helpful! I think it's only around during December since it wasn't there yesterday, but I was able to add the widget this morning.

So my packages that were to arrive to day have showed up...but one is missing an item. It's on the order invoice, but not on the packing invoice. I ordered several items from Dell and was emailed shipping info for everything...except this missing item...grrr. So I call customer service, 45 minute wait to speak to someone - they're hold music is annoying as hell, but I'm waiting...the also have online assistance, I'm currently number 312 in line for that, obviously this company has screwed up a lot of peoples orders...blah! And this my friends is why I typically do not order gifts online from anywhere but amazon!!

I love the elf, can't wait to see where this years story leads!!

Sorry Theresa! Customer service is the worst. I finished most of my Christmas shopping on Amazon over the weekend when I was recovering from a head cold. Still need to buy something for my sister and maybe a few other bits and pieces. I'm determined to stick to my holiday budget this year, but I always end up finding something and thinking "oh so-and-so would love this!" I need more self control this year. :)

I have the same problems! I always think I'm done, but then find tons of stuff that I just have to get for people, lol. I did good with the items I bought from Dell, just would have been great if everything arrived...ahh well, 2 boxes were correct, so one mistake isn't terrible...let's see if the other two that are coming in are correct as well! (fingers crossed). Wouldn't be so irritating if the missing item wasn't part of one of the kids big gifts...I'd have been fine had it been something missing from the hubby's items, lol.

This hold music is driving me batty! Currently number 253 online...crazy!

At least you ordered early! Gives you some wiggle room to get everything sorted out. When I can I like to get everything ready early. I love wrapping gifts but I want to get everything done early this year so the week of Christmas I can just bake and cook for the holidays. My apartment oven is horrible -- the oven/stove is from like the 70s and has knobs and dials and I have no idea what temperature the oven actually is. I can't wait to go to my parents' place and have a normal oven to use again.
