Thanks :D. Ive head the idea in my head since CWs started being a thing, and I just recently had someone make it for me :D. Until then...Weird recolors that will never see the light of the CW shop on the dress I have! XD (like the weird Morostide sort of one...)

I think they're missing the point entirely, your item is not real, therefore it doesn't have to appear real. By their own logic, the morostide stickers need to be shaded.

If you really meant it to not look like candy stickers, but like a real rain of candy, then yes it's still shaded wrong. My guess is that you and the artist wish to make it still appear pastel? If that's the case then watch My Little Pony where they still mess with darkness and shading of hue and still stay pastel.

I was thinking of it look like actual candy, but maybe your 'idea' of it being stickers...I like it! :D

Here is what some of the morostide wearable decal/stickers I am talking about look like, they're pretty cute:

One of the reasons it fails to look like actual candy is that the outlines are too thick. The cloud itself is positively cartoony in the thickness and pixelly nature of it's outline, it took me awhile to register that it was a cloud.

Your artist has tried to show the roundness of the candy pieces using the exact same black and the exact same thickness of black as the outlines. This kind of light/dark sharpness on spherical things only occurs in the vacuum of space on the moon, or in interrogation rooms.

This makes the candy look superflat and like what an image of a piece of candy in a daily comic strip would look like instead of an actual candy piece, and no amount of dramatic shading is going to fix this.

Not sure if your artist is yanking your chain or not or this is what she can do... If that's the extent of her skill then totally flattening everything out and not even attempting to shade and calling it "stickies" like the morostide items is the way to go. There's a gumdrop backdrop that I love and whip out every Luminaire along with the gingerbreadman HA fullbody cover that has chocolate eyes and buttons and icing and the fourth anniversary icing hair, and it's got no real shading at all. But it's tons of fun!

Thank you soooo much Anon and Scarlet thanks you also. She was left at the pound at the young age of 2 and half her litter of puppies were dead. The Husky society thinks she was used as a breeder only and dropped off when they were done with her. She was brought to me and the first thing I said is "She is gorgeous... She is too big!" I wanted a medium size dog. She laid on my kitchen floor and by her actions declared she was home. It took her 24 hours to learn what "No" was. Another day or so to ask to go out and more then two months to be comfortable enough to not be scared to leave out the front door. She now knows she'll be able to come back. She is a sweet, loving pups and I am thankful I found her.

go to Boss Prizes in the battle coliseum area, I went there out of curiosity and got achievement.

I was aiming for it to be actual candy, but the thought I have now is taht its a wearable sticker,,,Maybe with some 'witty' saying of "For those that want the candy but cant eat it for some reason or another" description (that jsut came off the top of my head and sounds really horrible). If they can't get it looking 'right' (AKA, like actual candy like I originally planned), the stickies is a way to go I guess?

Im looking for other artists for other CW ideas i have, mostly to 'spread the love around' to artists that might not be as well known (as say...Violin? I think they are at least somewhat known for CW making). Contacted one person who seemed like they could make something good, waiting on another reply to see if they think they can make the ideas I have

How are you? I think its my bday too. Hubby and son came back from Alan Jackson concert they brought me a t-shirt and jacket given to those with VIP tickets. Jacket comes right as I can start to wear it, its starting to get cooler. I was hoping for a t-shirt!
