@blackwolf_2009 I am not a die hard Burton fan. But I do like a few of his films. But Nightmare will be my favorite just because of the memories of my dad. That is so cute that she does! I actually watch it before Christmas lol so thats funny.

I can understand that. So many beautiful items... But this is why I decided I'll buy less and get the things I want drawn. One a month....

I am going to a convention next yr for the tv show supernatural so I need to save up for the travel and spending money, hence the ban ( will be interesting how hubby copes with the kids )

I remember when I was younger I always tried to save a few bucks each month for the summerholidays with the kids (my husband and the father of my two oldest died, when the younger one was just 6 month old, the older merely 2).

So not that much fun.

It got better as I grew older - the kids grew older and my current "boyfriend" (we're still not married) joined our house with his three kids. Still, it's a lot to think over and we both want the kids to be able to do whatever they want.

BUT I try to have a bit of money just for me each month (and see that my hubby also has some just for himself)

I still safe money... When he turned 50 (last year) I safed a lot. His one and only dream is to climb in the Himalya and I safed enough to gift him this trip.... So he can do that as long as he is still fit enough.

it isnt easy but it helps when you have a plan,

I turn 40 next yr so its nice to have something exciting planned, thats cool you were able to do that for him :)

I am turning 40 this december. I remember so well when he told me that this was his dream. And that he never thought he could do that - since being a single parent would not allow that (the trip takes up to 4 weeks).

So he's going this year. not looking forward to that...

He's the last of my 20 lb dogs. I got him from the pound as an owner surrender when he was about 2 and he's 14 now. He's almost too much for me now, being a very strong and solid little dog. That's why I moved down to a smaller size, much less an actual threat to me.

Yeah, she thinks it's more for Halloween rather than Christmas.
