Fort McMurray is the home of the Tar Sands Project and unfortunately 40 years of extraction has led to some serious climate change. The wildfires are starting earlier and getting worse each year. This one is extreme with evacuations that were heart-stopping...

Tornadoes are equally devastating and have been becoming more and more frequent as well...who knows what's in the future if we don't put the brakes on our pollution habits??? 🙀

I totally agree people just throw thrash around like it's nothing and think that it doesn't effect the environment it's just crazy any more the world is changing and not for the good if you ask me storms are more frequent and violent then they ever were and they are happening in places that have hardly had storms

So [email protected] signs are all there, but we're slow to change our ways. It's like that line from Forrest Gump, "Stupid is, as stupid does." The kids seem to be a lot more aware...I hope that things can be turned around for their sake.

A little bit late-ish (because my pup and I have been sleeping most of the day) but welcome to the party ! The Lair's pretty great.

I'll give the pup some extra cuddles for the both of you. We're quite a pair. The painkillers make him all lazy but he's trying so hard to take care of me (I'm apparently sick again) while I take care of him.
